Be Picasso!
Use your capability switch to spin beautiful works of art. Just activate your switch and drip the paint into the paint dispensing top. In addition, multi-colored lights blink and melodies play. Increases color recognition, visual attention and listening skills. Set includes: cards, 5 bottles of 1 oz. non-toxic paint. Size: 13¼"L x 12¾"W x 5¼"H. Requires 4 AA Batteries. Weight: 2½ lbs.
Operation:
1. The Swirl Art requires 4 AA batteries (not included). Use alkaline batteries only (e.g. Duracell or Energizer brand). Do not use rechargeable batteries or any other type of batteries because they supply lower voltage and the unit will not perform properly. Never mix old and new batteries together or different brands or types together.
2. Carefully turn the base over and remove the two screws from the battery compartment covers. Lift the battery compartment covers off. Observing polarity, install four AA size batteries (Not included) into the holder. Replace the battery compartment covers and screws.
3. Plug any capability switch into the 1/8" jack located on the side of the base, make sure the switch is plugged in all the way. There should be no gaps between the connections, if there is a gap the Swirl Art will stay ON and your switch will have no control over the Swirl Art.
4. Activate your external switch the Swirl Art will start spinning
while playing a musical tune and stay on for as long as the switch is activated. Once the switch is released Swirl Art will turn OFF.
Troubleshooting:
Problem: Swirl Art does not function correctly.
Action #1: Make sure that the connection between the external
capability switch and the jack is TIGHT. There should be NO gaps.
Action #2: Try your switch with another switch operated toy/device in an effort to rule out your switch as the source of the problems.
Action #3: Replace the batteries paying close attention to proper battery polarity.
Action #4: Make sure nothing is restricting the paper spinner from moving.
Care of Unit:
If you will not be using Swirl Art for an extended amount of time, we recommend removing the batteries.
The Swirl Art can be wiped clean with any mild household multipurpose, non-abrasive cleaner and disinfectant. We recommend Simple Green, which is a non toxic biodegradable all-purpose cleaner.
Do not use abrasive cleaners, as they will scratch the surface of the unit.
Do not submerge the unit, as it will damage the electrical components.
