Gumball Switch on Easy Flex Mount
#1015
USER’S GUIDE
We’ve added our popular Gumball switch to our Easy Flex Mount. Bend the flexible arm and position the switch anywhere. Easily clamps to any wheelchair, tray, tabletop, highchair or stroller. Size: 20"L. Weight: 1 lb.
Operation:
1. Attach the clamp to your mounting surface by first turning the clamp adjusting knob clockwise to loosen. Turn counter clock wise to tighten, do not over tighten or you will damage clamp. Once the Flex Arm is mounted you will want to adjust position of the arm for the best placement. Gently bend the arm to the desired position. To fine tune your placement of the switch.
2. Plug the switch into the jack on your switch-adapted toy/device.
3. If it is necessary for you to use an adapter, make sure that you use a MONO adapter, not a STEREO adapter.
4. Make sure that the connection between the switch and your toy/device is plugged in all the way. There should be no gaps.
5. Simply press anywhere on the switch’s top to activate your toy/device.
6. The toy/device will only remain activated while switch continues to be actuated. Once you release the switch, the toy/device will turn off.
Troubleshooting:
Problem: The switch does not activate your toy/device.
Action #1: Make sure that the connection between the switch
and your toy/device is plugged in all the way. There should be no gaps. This is a common error and an easy fix.
Action #2: Try a different switch with your toy/device to rule out the toy/device as the source of the problem.
Action #3: Try a different adapter (if applicable) to rule this out as the source of the problem.
Care of Unit:
The Gumball switch on Easy Flex Mount can be wiped clean with any household multi-purpose cleaner and disinfectant. We recommend Simple Green, which is a non toxic biodegradable all-purpose cleaner.
Do not submerge the unit, as it will damage the contents and the electrical components. Do not use abrasive cleaners, as they will scratch the surface of the unit.
