Simple use!
Simple use! We have adapted the two most important iPod functions: play/pause and track advance. Now users have the freedom to turn their music on and off and to scan through their songs with the simple touch of two switches. Works with all iPods except the shuffle or the new 8 pin lightning connector. Size: 6½"L x 6"W x 3¼"H. Requires two Capability Switches and AC Transformer (included). Weight: 1¾ lbs.
Operation:
1. Plug the one end of the AC power transformer into the back of the Docking Station and the other end in your wall outlet. Next place the appropriate plastic docking insert for your model iPod on the top of the Docking Station and then doc your iPod on the base station. Reference the OEM instructions for setting date, time, alarm settings ect.
2.
This iHome docking station has been adapted for use with two external switches for easy access to the docked iPod controls. The user can be in command of the play/pause and tracks forward of his chosen album or playlist. One is marked On/Off the other, Track/Advance.
3. Insert any capability switch with a 1/8" plug into the Play/Pause input jack. Make sure the connection is plugged in all way flush, with no gaps. Please Note: Switches with Latch/Timer modes can only be used in Momentary mode with this docking station. Latch/Timer functions will not work. The Track advance jack allows the user to advance to the next track with each switch activation.
Please Reference the original manufacture instructions for all of the docking station functions and features and any additional troubleshooting info.
Troubleshooting:
Problem: docking station does not work.
Action #1: Check all connections, AC power cord, switches and connection
of your iPod in the docking Station...
Action #2: Try another switch you know works with other devices to rule out the docking station as the source of the problem.
Action #4: Make sure that there is nothing inhibiting the depression of your switches or holding any of the switch plates down.
Care & Maintenance:
1. Keep the docking station clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth when needed.
2. Keep the docking station out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat source.
4. Do not drop the docking station on a hard surface and do not expose it to moisture or immerse it in water.
