Compact Activity Center
Children love to explore this small-scale busy box, designed to provide sensory stimulation and cognitive activity for the infant or child whose physical mobility may be limited due to position needs. This toy offers a dome full of sparkling, colored sequins, which spin with the push of a button; a textured plate that, with the slightest pressure, activates both a vibrator and a bright red light; a music box which is activated by pulling on a wooden ball; and a bead curtain of dazzling colors set in front of an unbreakable mirror. This center promotes exploratory play; provides visual, auditory and tactile stimulation; and encourages gross arm movement and eye-hand coordination. It can be secured to a wall or any smooth surface with screws and screw anchors (included). A sidelyer model (#2310) and optional mounting accessories (crib clamp #2320 and lapboard/table stand (#2330) are also available.
Operation:
The battery case is located behind the mirror. To remove the mirror, turn the screw on the top face of the mirror counterclockwise with a screwdriver. Observing polarity, install two C batteries into the holder. Alkaline batteries are recommended because they last longer. Do not use rechargeable batteries because they supply lower voltage and the unit may not perform as well.
Reattach mirror being careful not to overtighten screw.
