Setting Up the RC10L-10 Remote
Control

SW

There is a SP3T switch located on the
backside of the PCB inside the enclosure
of the RC10L-10. Access the switch by
removing the back piece of the enclosure.
The RC10L-10 is shipped with the switch
in the off position, which leaves pin 10 on
the DIN connector in an open state. If

OFF

your DSP or automixer needs to sense a

HOT

ground on pin 10, then move the actuator
on the switch to GND. If your DSP or
automixer needs to sense a connection
between pin 10 and pin 12, then move
the actuator on the switch to HOT.

PWR

The RC10L-10 ships with pin 12 wired for power and pin 13 wired for ground. Some
DSP/Automixers have power on pin 13, and the ground connection on pin 12. There
is a 2-Pin terminal inside the RC10L-10 that allows you to switch the power and
ground without having to desolder and solder the wires on the DIN cable. If you have
to make this conversion, then you should also switch the LED polarity.

LED

The RC10L-10 ships with the LED polarity wired for power on Pin 12 and ground on
Pin 13. If you make the change on the 2-Pin terminal for the power, then you will
need to switch the polarity of the LED by reversing the wires in the 2-Pin terminal for
the LED.
