cont rol, t here is a p air of R J-45 Cat5e
connector s for c onnecting the BLU CC2 to the DSP, and a 3-pin Euroblock for the audio signal from either
Mic 3 or the Aux Inputs (RCA or
IMPORTANT: CAT5e wiring for the RJ-45 connector needs to be
crimped to TIA/EIA 568B Standards (see below) on both ends of the cable.
You must crimp and test the wiring with an approved CAT5 568A/B
tester before connecting any cable between the BLU-CC and either a
BLU-CIF or BLU-IF Interface unit. Failure to crimp wiring to the co rrect
standard could possibly lead to component damage.

In addition to adding a 3.5mm stereo jack to the AUX Inputs section of the
BLU-CC2, there is a switch on the upper back of the board for setting up the
BLU-CC2 in e ither Mode 1 for a s yst em using a new BLU-CIF/BLU-CIF2,
or Mode 2 for a system using a n old BL U-CIF.
Setting up a BLU-CC 2 in
Mode 1 in conjunction with a
new BLU-CIF or BLU-CIF2
requ ires a new template, which
is available from BSS Audio.
