SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
General Information
1. Read these instructions carefully and keep them in a safe
place.
2. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved.
3. Children shall not play with the appliance.
4. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
5. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children
less than 8 years.
6. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
7. This appliance is intended to be used in household and
similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in shops,
offices and other working environments; farm houses; by
clients in hotels, motels and other residential type
environments; bed and breakfast type environments.
8. Only use the appliance as described in this manual.
9. In case of damage caused by failure of not living up to this
manual the warranty will decay immediately. The
manufacturer/importer accepts no liability for damages
caused by failure to not living up the manual, a negligent
use or use not in accordance with the requirements of this
manual.
10. Always remove the power cord and let it cool:
- Before moving the unit;
- Before the unit is stored;

- Before you go mounting or dismantle parts;
- Before cleaning or maintenance work;
- After use.
11. Only have the appliance repaired by a qualified service
centre.
Electricity and heat
1. Before use, check that the mains power supply voltage is
the same and the voltage is the same as the voltage
indicated on the appliance.
2. Always plug the appliance into an earthed plug socket.
3. Regularly check the power cord for damage.
4. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or
plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or
damaged in any manner. Return appliance to
manufacturer or the nearest authorized service agent for
examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
5. To remove the plug from the plug socket, pull the plug. Do
not pull the power cord.
6. Make sure the power cord does not come into contact
with hot surfaces or steam.
7. Always remove the plug from the plug socket before you
move the appliance.
8. The machine should not be operated by means of an
external timer-switch or by means of a separate system
with remote control.
9. If an extension cord is absolutely necessary, a 10-ampere
cord should be used. Cords rated for less amperage may
overheat. Care should be taken to arrange the cord so that
it cannot be pulled or tripped over.
10. To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate another high
voltage appliance on the same circuit.
11. To protect against electric shock do not immerse cord,
plugs, or housing in water or other liquid.

12. Do not touch the appliance if it falls into water. Remove
the plug from its socket, turn off the appliance and do not
use it again.
13. Do not use the appliance close to hot objects such as a
stove or oven.
Using the appliance
1. The use of accessory attachment not recommended by
the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
2. Only use the appliance indoors, in dry areas away from
water.
3. Place the appliance on a stable, level surface from which it
cannot fall off.
4. Use the appliance on a flat, dry and heat resistance
surface, not on varnished furniture.
5. Place the appliance at least 5cm off the wall or flammable
objects (such as curtains, candles or towels).
6. Disconnect the mains plug: after each time operating; if
there is any interference with operation; before cleaning.
7. Ensure that the mains cable is not hung over sharp edges
and keep it away from hot objects and open flames.
8. Do not use the appliance if the mains cable or plug show
signs of damage, if the appliance has fallen on the floor or
has other parts damaged. In such cases take the appliance
to a specialist for checking and repair if necessary.
9. Close supervision is necessary for any appliance being
used by or near children.
10. Never leave the appliance unattended during use.
11. It is necessary to keep this appliance clean because it is in
direct contact with food.
12. Parts of the appliance become hot during use. Therefore,
the appliance must only be held by the handle. Avoid
touching the metal parts as they become very hot.
13. The heating element has been slightly greased and as a
result the appliance might slightly smoke when switched

on for the first time. After a short while, this will cease. Let
the appliance work for 10 minutes before first use, this
will remove the smell and smoke.
14. Always attach the probe to griddle before plugging cord
into wall outlet. To disconnect, turn temperature control
knob to “OFF”, then remove plug from wall outlet.
15. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance
containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
16. Use extreme caution when disposing hot grease.
17. The connector must be removed before the appliance is
cleaned and the appliance inlet must be dried before the
appliance is used again.
18. Only the appropriate connector must be used.
19. Warning: charcoal or similar combustible fuels must not
be used with this appliance.
20. Warning!!
Please do not touch surface while in use. The
accessible surface may get hot when the
appliance is operating.
21. Regarding the instructions for cleaning the surfaces which
come in contact with food or oil, please refer to the
paragraphs “CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS” and “HINTS FOR
CARE AND USE OF NON-STICK SURFACE”.

USING YOUR GRILL
1. Before first use, see CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS and HINTS FOR CARE AND USE OF NON-STICK SURFACE.
2. Lift the heating plate up, and insert the oil container into the slot in the center of the base. Place the
heating plate onto the base, inserting the probe receptacle into the slot on the side of the base. Attach the
thermostat connector into the unit. Make sure the temperature control faces upwards.
3. Connect the mains plug to a suitable socket.
4. Set the desired temperature by means of the temperature control 1/2/3/4/5. The indicator lamp lights up.
5. The unit, on its first use, might emit light smell. It is however of no consequence. Briefly ensure sufficient
ventilation.
6. As soon as this temperature has been attained, the indicator light goes off.
7. When the grill has cooled down, the grill is heated up again automatically. The indicator light glows till the
set temperature is attained again.
8. Always turn the temperature control to “OFF”, to switch off the grill.
9. Pull out the mains plug from the socket and pull out the thermostat connector from the unit.
10. Carry the grill only by the handles.
11. Let the grill cool down outside the reach of the children. Caution: Grill surfaces are hot during use.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Unplug and allow it to cool completely before cleaning or moving.
2. Remove cord set (Do not immerse it in water), wipe with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
Caution: Probe and probe receptacle must always be completely dry before use.
Note: The oil container is dishwasher safe.
HINTS FOR CARE AND USE OF NON-STICK SURFACE
To avoid scratching the non-stick surface, do not stack objects on grill.
Use medium to low heat for best cooking results. Very high temperatures can cause discoloration and
shorten the life span of any non-stick surface. If higher temperatures are necessary, preheat on medium
for a few minutes.
Use only nylon, plastic or wooden utensils with care to avoid scratching the non-stick surface. Never cut
food on the grill.
Remove stubborn stains with a plastic scouring pad and mild dish washing liquid.
Do not use steel wool.

defective product, you can directly go back to the point of purchase.
Defects which arise due to improper handling of the device and malfunctions due to interventions and repairs
by third parties or the fitting of non-original parts are not covered by this guarantee. Always keep your receipt,
without the receipt you can’t claim any form of warranty. Damage caused by not following the instruction
manual, will lead to a void of warranty, if this results in consequential damages then we will not be liable.
Neither can we hold responsible for material damage or personal injury caused by improper use if the
instruction manual is not properly executed. Damage to accessories does not mean free replacement of the
whole appliance. In such case please contact our service department. Broken glass or breakage of plastic parts
is always subject to a charge. Defects to consumables or parts subjected to wearing, as well as cleaning,
maintenance or the replacement of said parts are not covered by the warranty and are to be paid.

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Allgemeines
1. Lesen Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig durch, und
bewahren Sie sie auf.
2. Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und von
Personen mit eingeschränkten physischen, sensorischen
oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder ohne Erfahrung und/oder
Wissen benutzt werden, wenn diese durch eine für ihre
Sicherheit zuständige Person beaufsichtigt werden oder
von ihr Anweisungen erhielten, wie das Gerät sicher zu
benutzen ist und sie auf die Risiken aufmerksam gemacht
wurden und die Risiken verstehen.
3. Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
4. Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht durch
Kinder durchgeführt werden, es sei denn, sie sind 8 Jahre
und älter und werden beaufsichtigt.
5. Das Gerät und seine Anschlussleitung sind von Kindern
jünger als 8 Jahre fernzuhalten Beaufsichtigen Sie Kinder
sorgfältig. Dieses Gerät ist kein Spielzeug!
6. Wenn die Netzanschlussleitung dieses Gerätes beschädigt
wird, muss sie durch den Hersteller oder seinen
Kundendienst oder eine ähnlich qualifizierte Person
ersetzt werden, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
7. Dieses Gerät ist für die Verwendung im Haushalt oder für

Anweisungen in dieser Bedienungsanleitung.

Nichtbeachtung der Gebrauchsanweisung beschädigt wird.

10. Ziehen Sie immer den Netzstecker heraus und lassen Sie
das Gerät abkühlen:
- Vor dem Verbringen an einen anderen Aufstellort;
- Vor dem Lagern;
- Vor dem Anbringen oder Entfernen von Teilen;
- Vor dem Reinigen oder Warten;
- Nach dem Benutzen.
11. Lassen Sie Reparaturen nur von einem qualifizierten
Kundendienstzentrum ausführen.
Elektrizität und Wärme
1. Ü berprüfen Sie vor dem Gebrauch, ob die Netzspannung
mit der auf dem Gerät angegebenen Spannung
übereinstimmt.
2. Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an geerdete Steckdosen
(Schukosteckdosen) an.
3. Ü berprüfen Sie das Netzkabel regelmäßig auf
Beschädigungen.
4. Benutzen Sie kein Gerät mit einem beschädigten Kabel
oder Stecker oder nachdem das Gerät nicht
ordnungsgemäß funktioniert oder auf andere Art und
Weise beschädigt wurde. Schicken Sie das Gerät zum
nächsten Kundendienst zurück, damit es dort überprüft,
repariert oder eingestellt wird.
5. Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel immer am Stecker aus der
Steckdose. Ziehen Sie nicht am Kabel.
6. Halten Sie das Netzkabel von heißen Oberflächen und
heißen Dampf fern.
7. Ziehen Sie immer den Stecker aus der Steckdose, bevor
Sie das Gerät an einen anderen Platz stellen.

8. Das Gerät darf nicht mit Hilfe einer externen Zeitschaltuhr
oder eines separaten Systems mit Fernbedienung
eingeschaltet werden.
9. Sollte sich ein Verlängerungskabel nicht vermeiden lassen,
so achten Sie bitte darauf, dass es mit 10A abgesichert ist.
Geringwertige Verlängerungskabel können überhitzen.
Achten Sie darauf, dass niemand über das Anschlusskabel
stolpern kann.
10. Zur Vermeidung von Leitungsüberlastung betreiben Sie
bitte keinen weiteren starken Verbrauch am gleichen
Stromkreis.
11. Tauchen Sie Gerät, Netzkabel oder-Stecker nicht in Wasser
oder sonstige Flüssigkeiten ein, um Stromschlag zu
vermeiden.
12. Fassen Sie das Gerät nicht an, wenn es ins Wasser gefallen
ist. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose,
schalten Sie das Gerät aus und verwenden Sie es nicht
mehr.
13. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe von
Wärmequellen wie Herd oder Backofen.
Gebrauch
1. Die Benutzung von nicht Original Zubehörteilen kann zu
Verletzungen führen.
2. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur in trockenen Innenräumen
und nicht in der Nähe von Wasser.
3. Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine stabile, ebene Oberfläche,
von der es nicht herunter fallen kann.
4. Verwenden Sie das Gerät auf einem flachen, trockenen,
hitzebeständigen und nicht lackierten Möbel.
5. Stellen Sie das Gerät in einem Mindestabstand von 5 cm
von der Wand oder brennbaren Objekten (wie z. B.
Vorhängen, Kerzen oder Handtüchern) auf.
6. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker: nach jedem Gebrauch; bei
einer Störung während des Betriebes; vor jeder Reinigung.

Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, wenn das
Gerät nicht in Gebrauch ist und vor der Reinigung.
7. Achten Sie darauf, dass das Netzkabel nicht über scharfe
Kanten hängt und halten Sie es von heißen Gegenständen
und offenen Flammen fern.
8. Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn Netzkabel oder -
Stecker Schäden aufweisen, wenn das Gerät auf den
Boden gefallen ist oder auf andere Weise beschädigt
wurde. In diesen Fällen bringen Sie das Gerät zu einem
Spezialisten zur Untersuchung und, falls notwendig, zur
Reparatur.
9. Bei Benutzung durch oder in der Nähe von Kindern ist
besondere Aufmerksamkeit geboten.
10. Lassen Sie das Gerät niemals beim Betrieb unbeaufsichtigt.
11. Es ist notwendig, das Gerät sauber zu halten, da es direkt
mit Lebensmitteln in Kontakt kommt.
12. Teile des Geräts werden im Betrieb heiß. Deshalb darf das
Gerät nur am Griff angefasst werden. Vermeiden Sie die
Berührung der Metallteile, da diese sehr heiß werden.
13. Das Heizelement wurde werksseitig leicht geölt, daher
kann das Gerät bei Erstbenutzung etwas Rauch entwickeln.
Lassen Sie das Gerät vor Erstbenutzung mindestens 10
Minuten eingeschaltet, damit wird sichergestellt, dass sich
eventueller Rauch oder Geruch verflüchtigt.
14. Befestigen Sie den Sensor stets an den Grill, bevor Sie den
Netzstecker an die Steckdose anschließen. Vor dem
Ziehen des Netzsteckers schalten Sie den
Temperaturregler zuerst auf “OFF” und trennen dann den
Netzstecker von der Wandsteckdose ab.
15. Seien Sie extrem vorsichtig beim Bewegen des Geräts,
wenn dieses heißes Ö l oder andere heiße Flüssigkeiten
enthält.
16. Seien Sie beim Entsorgen von heißem Fett äußerst
vorsichtig.
