IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and if they understand the hazards involved.
3. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
4. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children
aged less than 8 years.
5. Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved.
6. Children shall not play with the appliance.
7. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
8. Regarding the instructions for cleaning the surfaces which
come in contact with food or oil, please refer to the
paragraph “cleaning and maintenance” of the manual.
9. This appliance is intended to be used in household and
similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in shops,
offices and other working environments; farm houses; by
clients in hotels, motels and other residential type
environments; bed and breakfast type environments.
10. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles.
11. Adult supervision is necessary when operating any
appliance near children.
12. Unplug appliance from the wall outlet when not in use and
before cleaning. Allow the appliance to cool completely
before adding or removing the pot.

13. Do not operate the appliance if the cord has been damaged,
or if the appliance malfunctions or is damaged in any way.
Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility
for examination, repair or adjustment.
14. Never put water or any liquid into the outer pot.

Never plug in the power cord without the inner pot inside
the cooker.
16. Any use of accessory attachments not recommended by
the manufacturer may cause hazards.
17. Do not use outdoors.
18. Do not let cord dangle or hang over the edge of table or
counter tops, or allow it to touch hot surfaces.
19. Do not place the appliance on or near gas or electric
burners, on a stovetop or in an oven.
20. Exercise extreme caution when moving or handling
appliances containing hot oil or other liquids.
21. Do not use this appliance for any other purpose but its
intended use.
22. Always unplug after use. Your cooker’s power will remain
on unless unplugged.
23. The machine should not be operated by means of an
external timer-switch or by means of a separate system
with remote control.
24. Use the appliance on a flat, dry and heat resistance surface.

BEFORE INITIAL USE
1. Before initial use remove all packaging materials. Wash the removable cooking pot and glass lid in warm
soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
2. Ensure the interior of the stainless steel housing is clean and clear of any debris.
3. A minimal smell and smoke will occur from the initial use. It comes from the protective substance applied
to the heating elements during manufacturing. This is normal and harmless.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Before placing the removable cooking pot into the stainless steel housing ensure its exterior is clean and dry.
Using the Sous Vide function
1) Preparation
Make sure the power outlet is switched off and the appliance is unplugged from the power outlet.
Place the appliance on a stable, level and heat-resistant surface at least 75cm above the floor with at
least 5cm space all round it.
Vacuum seal the food in the suitable size of food saving bags.
Fill the pot with water.

2) Cooking the food
Close the lid and plug in the appliance.
Press the power button; the machine is illuminated.
Press “Menu” and choose “Sous Vide” in LCD screen.
The default time and temperature is 8 hours and 56℃. Please press “Timer/Temp” to set your desired
time and temperature. Press “+” and “-” to increase or reduce the hours and temperature figures. Press
and hold for rapid increase/reduce.
Timer: The cooking time can be adjusted from 30 minutes to 72 hours by 30 minutes increment.
Temp: The temperature can be adjusted from 45℃ to 95℃ by 1℃ increment.
When the setting is finished press “Start/Stop” to start preheat process. The appliance will also start
heating automatically in 10 seconds if without any pressing.
When the target temperature is reached the buzzer rings 3 times.
Open the lid; put the sealed food pack into the water ensure the food pack is fully immersed in the
water. Use the Sous Vide rack to separate the food packs if a lot of packs need to be cooked.
Press “Start/Stop” to start cooking process and time counts down. During cooking if you want to adjust
the time and temperature you can press “Timer/Temp” then “+” & “-” to make adjustment.
If you want to stop the cooking press the “Start/Stop” to stop the cooking process. If you want to restart
the cooking you need to reset the function, timer and temperature and then press “Start/Stop”.
After use press the power button to switch off the appliance. Unplug it from the power outlet.
Using other functions
Plug in the appliance.
Press the power button and then press “Menu” to choose your desired function.
Please press “Timer/Temp” to set your desired time and temperature. Press “+” and “-” to increase or
reduce the hours and temperature figures. Press and hold for rapid increase/reduce.
When the setting is finished press “Start/Stop” to start cooking process. The appliance will also start heating
automatically in 10 seconds if without any pressing. During cooking if you want to adjust the time and
temperature you can press “Timer/Temp” then “+” & “-” to make adjustment.

IMPORTANT!
When setting time and temperature before cooking you can press and hold “Timer/Temp” for 5 seconds to
switch the temperature unit between “℃” and “℉”.
“Roast/Steam Rack A” is mainly for roast; “Roast/Steam Rack B” is mainly for steam. You can also switch
them for your own cooking purpose.
For functions “Bake”, “Saute”, “Roast”, “Steam”, “Yogurt” and “keep warm” the appliance will switch off
automatically with 3 beeps when cooking process is finished.
For functions “Rice”, “Slow Cook (Hi)” and “Slow Cook (Low)” the appliance will turn to keep warm
automatically with 3 beeps when cooking process is finished. The keep warm time lasts 2 hours.
For “Stew” function please note the timer will not begin counting down until the appliance reaches a boil.
When cooking process is finished the appliance will switch off automatically with 3 beeps.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Clean the appliance after each use.
Switch off and unplug the appliance. Allow it cool down completely.
Wash the removable cooking pot, glass lid and accessories in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
They are dishwasher safe. NOTE: When cleaning, the exterior of the cooking pot may produce a black film.
This is due to the oxidation and occurs from normal usage.
Wipe the external surface of the appliance with a soft damp cloth and then dry completely. Do not use
detergent or abrasives as these may scratch the coating.
Never immerse the appliance body into water or other liquid.

will lead to a void of warranty, if this results in consequential damages then we will not be liable. Neither can we
hold responsible for material damage or personal injury caused by improper use if the instruction manual is not
properly executed. Damage to accessories does not mean free replacement of the whole appliance. In such case
please contact our service department. Broken glass or breakage of plastic parts is always subject to a charge.
Defects to consumables or parts subjected to wearing, as well as cleaning, maintenance or the replacement of
said parts are not covered by the warranty and are to be paid.
