1. Insert (4) new AAbatteries,
per markings, into
the back of the
Emergency
Response Light.

5. Attach the Emergency
Response Light to
the window. Do not
place it on the glass
where it might
interfere with the
proper opening
and closing of
the window.

Instructions

Transmi tter ( TMT03)
Installation

1. Insert (4) new AAA
batteries, per mark­ings, into the front
of the transmitter.

2. Clean and dry surfaces are required for
mounting and proper adhesion of Velcro strip.

3. Determine the best location and the phone
line that you choose to monitor. The

transmitter (TMT03) must be located
within 50 feet of Emergency Response
Light RSB03.You have (2) options:

A. mount over a single or double telephone

jack plate, insert excess wire into the
cutout back of unit (TMT03) for flush
mounting or;

B. mount adjacent to the

telephone jack plate, snap
the telephone wire into
groove on back of the
transmitter (TMT03)
prior to installing the
Velcro strip.

Please read all instructions

before installation

Mount the
Emergency
Response
Light (RSB03)
and the
transmitter
(TMT03) no
further than
50 feet apart.

Warning: Residential homes or businesses
with multiple phone lines must mount the
transmitter (TMT03) to the phone line that
is chosen to monitor outgoing emergency
calls. The transmitter (TMT03) will only
monitor the phone line that is chosen.

4. Adhere Velcro to the transmitter
(top or bottom where indicated
on the TMT03) and the telephone
jack plate or wall depending on
method of installation
that you choose

(refer to Transmitter
Installation instruc­tion #3.A or B.)

5. Plug the transmitter into
the telephone jack of
the line that you want
to monitor.

6. Optional – plug phone into
top of transmitter

2. Select the window in your house that
is most visible from the street.

of the Emergency Response
Light (where indicated on
the RSB03) and to the
inside of the window.
For best results,
allow adhesive to
bond for 24 hours.

Operation

Test unit after installation. Use test codes
only. Do not dial 911 for testing purposes.

1. Dial #99 to activate the Emergency

Response Light (RSB03) and check to see
Emergency Response Light unit flashing.

2. Dial #11 to deactivate the Emergency
Response Light (RSB03), or simply press the
reset button on the transmitter unit (TMT03)

Caution: Excessive testing can shorten
battery life significantly.

Once your Guide Light 911TMis installed, dialing 911
will automatically turn on the Emergency Response
Light making it faster and easier for emergency
personnel to find your home’s exact location.

on, simply replace the batteries and test the units following the same
procedure listed above for testing. It is recommended that you change
batteries on both units at least twice per year at daylight savings &
standard times. Use only high quality, long lasting batteries.

harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the
equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more
of the following measures:

• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.

• Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.

• Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which receiver is connected.

• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

within one year from date of purchase because of defects in workmanship or
material, Emergency Safety Systems, Inc. (the Company) will at our option,
repair or replace this product without cost to the purchaser for parts and labor.
To obtain repair or replacement within the terms of this warranty, the product
is to be delivered with proof of warranty coverage (e.g. dated bill of sale),
with postage prepaid to Emergency Safety Systems, Inc. 80 Turnpike Drive,
Middlebury, CT06762. Do not return this product to the store where
purchased. Please enclose a check or money order in the amount of $6.50 to
cover postage and handling. Products out of warranty will be repaired at our
standard repair charges.

This warranty does not cover batteries nor apply to products or parts thereof
which, in the opinion of the Company, has suffered or been damaged through
alterations, improper installation, mishandling, misuse, neglect, accident, or by
removal or defacement of the factory serial number/bar code label(s). This
warranty is not assignable or transferable. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES,
INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, SHALL BE
LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY. IN NO CASE
SHALL THE COMPANY BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCI­DENTALDAMAGES FOR BREACH OF THIS OR ANYOTHER WARRANTY,
EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WHATSOEVER. No person or representative is
authorized to assume for the Company any liability other than expressed herein

Instalación de

1. Ponga (4) baterías

Funcionamiento

1. Disque #99 para activar el ERL (RSB03)

2. Disque #11 para desactivar el ERL (RSB03)
o simplemente pulse el botón reestablecer
(reponer) en el unito de la transmisor (TMT03).

Aviso: Pruebas demásiadas pueden cortar
la vida de las baterías significativamente.

Cuando usted ha instalado la Guide Light 91 1™, la
ERL empezará cuando usted llame 911 y será más
rápido y más fácil para las personas de emergencia
quienes están buscando el posicion exacto de su casa.

Si Guide Light 911™falle operar correctamente en condiciónes normales de
