Reliable and versatile it's suited for professional and multimedial use.

TZVA 05/10 is powered only by the AC adapter code ADM 001 equipped with
the unit.

Servicing must be made by

qualified personnel

The adapter must be fitted in a 220-240 Vac /50 Hz socket

3.0 SETTINGS

The unit has inside the setting (JP1) for the autosequencing time
(seechapter 7.1):

4.0 INSTALLATION

a) Be sure that all the units to be installed are in OFF state.
b) Connect the sources and destination video and audio as illustrated:

ATTENTION

ONLY one destination must be

connected to the output

c) Power the unit as described in chapter 2.0 and check that the led in the
pushbutton 1 lights up.

5.0 LOCAL COMMAND

The switcher TZVA 05/10 may be controlled
by the five (ten) pushbuttons on the front
panel.
The lighting up of the led indicates which
source is routed on the output.
At the power-on the source 1 is automatically
activated.

6.0 COMMAND BY DRY CONTACTS AND TALLY

By five (ten) external dry contacts connected to connector DB25p.f. REMOTE
it's possible to route the five (ten) inputs.

The relative tally signals are provided for lighting-up the external leds as
indicated below.

For the best results use

high efficiency leds.

7.0 AUXILIARY FUNCTIONS

TZVA 05/10 has two auxiliary functions which can be activated by two dry
contacts connected to connector DB25p. f. REMOTE.

Function stays active until the relative pin is connected to GND (pin 25).

7.1 AUTOSEQUENCING

The five (ten) inputs are routed alternatively with a period of 4 or 10 seconds.
The period is defined by the position of the jumper inside the unit.
(See chapter 3.0)

7.2 MUTE

The output is left open.

ATTENTION

AUTOSEQUENCING and MUTE are mutually
exclusive. Priority is:

8.0 HOST CONTROL

TZVA 05/10 may be controlled in all its functions by host computer sending an
exadecimal character.

Transmission is RS 232, 8 bits,
1 stop bit, no parity.
Baud rate is 2400.

Character must be sent to pin #12 of
connector DB25 p.f. REMOTE.
GND is pin #25.

In the table below are shown the codes sent by host and the relative function
on the TZVA 05/10.

AUTOSEQUENCING and MUTE
are removed repeating the
command or sending the code of
another command.

AUTOSEQUENCING and MUTE
are removed pressing a
pushbutton on front panel.
In this case will be routed the
input relative to the pushbutton
pressed.
