1.0 OVERVIEW
The SD104 is a high performance digital video signal distributor. It features 1
input and 6 outputs adapted at 75Ω.
Various features of this distributor make it a unique product, as yet unequalled on
the market:
-Automatic PLL for 143, 177, 270 and 360Mbit/sec
-High accuracy in the input and outputs ret. loss
-Autosensing circuit for fault monitoring
-Able to compensate 220m of RG59DS cable
-Regenerated and reclocked outputs
-On board SDI to Pal converter (DOP107, optional)
The distributor consists of a plug-in and of a separate rear part denominated
DRB104 on which the connectors for link-up to the external world are fitted. The
DRB104 is an integral part of the supply.
A conversion board that provides a PAL signal in output can be fitted on the plugin. The conversion board, known as DOP107, must be ordered separately.
The plug-in and the rear part must be inserted in the ELPRO 19" 3RU standard
rack with code DVR-MV/RK.

2.0 PRESETTINGS
The unit has no internal presettings.
At the center of the plug-in, there is a 12-pin connector in which to insert an
optional board, the DOP107.
This board converts the SDI signal at 270Mbit/sec, entering the SD104, providing
a Pal signal output.
The Pal signal is available on the BNC connector identified as MON fitted on the
DRB104 rear part.
