1.0 OVERVIEW
The DA210 is an audio distributor that permits the distribution of a balanced stereo audio
signal towards six destinations. The product, which consists of a plug-in, can be inserted
in the Elpro DVR-MV/RK 19" 2RU rack.
Like all Elpro plug-ins, the DA210 is self-powered and consists of two parts:
-The actual plug-in that can be inserted in the rack from the front;
-The rear box, called BC210, that can be fastened with two screws in the rear part of the
rack.
The video inputs of the DA210 are differential in order to guarantee immunity to induced
common mode disturbances. The outputs are electronically balanced.
The DA210 is complete with a jumper on the rear box for ground connection of the earth.
The output level of the LEFT and RIGHT signals is adjustable by ± 6 dB; using an internal
jumper type preset, the gain of the distributor can be set to +20, +10, 0 and -10 dB.

2.0 FRON PANEL
The following are provided on the front panel of the
DA210:
2.1 Left LEVEL trimmer for calibration of the output
signals of the left-hand channel.
2.2 Right LEVEL trimmer for calibration of the output
signals of the right-hand channel.
2.3 Green ON light
3.0 INSTALLATION
3.1 Insert the rear box BC210 in the rear part of the DVR-MV/RK rack, supporting the
Phoenix type detachable terminals with the two screws provided.
Insert the DA210 plug-in in the front part of the rack fastening it with the two pawls
already screwed to the front panel of the plug-in.
3.2 Connect the DVR-MV/RK rack to the 230 Vac 50Hz mains supply
WARNING
Ground connection to the yellow/green (Y/G) wire
of the cable leading out of the rack is compulsory.
The green ON light on all the plug-ins inserted in the rack must light up.
WARNING
The DVR-MV/RK rack accepts any Elpro plug-in
that is compatible with the rack.
