When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, To reduce
the risk of fire, electrical shock or injury, please read and understand all instructions before using the
spotlight.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
• Never insert ngers, pencils or any other items through the shutters when the unit is switched on.
• Never leave the air cooler unattended while it is in use. Always turn the product to the OFF
position and unplug it when not in use, when moving the air cooler from one location to another or
when cleaning it.
• Always ensure that the air cooler is placed on a at, dry and stable surface.
• Do not plug/unplug the appliance into/from the electrical outlet or adjust any switches
with wet hands.
• Ensure that the appliance has been properly earthed before use.
• Ensure that the air cooler is switched off from the supply mains before removing the shutters.
• Take care to prevent liquid and objects from entering the appliance through openings.
• Never use the appliance in areas where it can come into contact with water. Never handle the
appliance if it was dropped into water or any other liquid. Disconnect the appliance from the outlet
and take it to a qualied technician for assessment of damage or repairs.
• Never place the appliance or power cord on or close to sources of heat.
• To unplug, grip the plug and remove it directly from the wall socket. Never disconnect
by pulling the appliance’s cord. Never carry the appliance by its cord. Never wrap the
cord around the appliance.
• Do not run the cord under carpeting and do not cover the cord with throw rugs, runners or the like.
Arrange cord away from trafc area and where it will not be tripped over.
• To prevent a possible re hazard, do not block air intakes or outlets in any manner. Do not use on
soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
• Make sure that the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds with the mains
voltage in your home. Connect the appliance to single-phase AC supply of the voltage
specified on the rating plate.
• This appliance is designed for home use only and may not be used outdoors, or for commercial or
industrial purposes.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their
safety. Extreme caution must be exercised.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with this appliance. Packaging must
never be left within reach of children since it is potentially dangerous.
• Never use the appliance if the power cord or plug is damaged. If the appliance, cord or plug is
damaged through any means, do not open the appliance and do not attempt to repair it yourself.
Take it to a qualied technician for replacement or repairs.
• Avoid the use of an extension cord as this may overheat and cause a risk of re.

Operation
The Indicator Light will be switched on once the unit is connected to the main power supply. To turn
on the air cooler, press the ON/ Speed Switch. Press “OFF” to switch off.
• The Timer can be set by pressing the Timer Button once.
• The Timer can be preset to 7.5 hours maximum. The power will be cut off after it has reached the
preset time.
Swing (oscillation)
Press the Swing Button once to turn on the Oscillation Function and press again to switch it off.
Vertical oscillation can be adjusted manually by adjusting the Vertical Shutters.
Operation
1. Open the packaging and take out all the parts before operating the unit.
2. Open the Water Tank Cover and pour in ice and clean water. Open the Ice Case and put the ice
into the Tank. Do not fill the Water Tank with more than the “MAX” level indicated.
3. Install the air cooler horizontally and remember to ensure that the power source matches the
power rating plate.
4. Plug in the appliance and make sure that the power is in the OFF position.
5. When the power of the air cooler is on, the preset wind speed will be medium. Select the wind
speed (LOW/ MEDIUM/ HIGH/ LOW & NATURAL) by pressing the ON/ Speed Button.
6. Set the Timer by pressing the Timer Button once. The 0.5 hour (30 minutes) time, is the minimum
time to be set, and 7.5 hours is the maximum time to be set.
7. Select the wind oscillation by pressing the Swing Button. Vertical oscillation can be manually
adjusted by adjusting the Vertical Shutters.
8. For the Humidifier Function, put the Cold-packs into a refrigerator until they are frozen. Put the
Cold-pack into the Water Tank. After 5 minutes, the water temperature will drop. The air cooler will
also begin to humidify the air.
9. Remote Control: Open the Back Cover and install a battery (included). The keys and functions of
the Remote Control are the same as the Control Panel. When using the Remote Control, please
point the Remote Control towards the Sensor on the Control Panel and make sure that there is no
barrier in between.
Care and Maintenance
• Use a standard AC outlet 230 V ~ 50 Hz.
• Please ensure that the air cooler is switched off and unplugged before you pour water or ice into the
water component. Please do not put any water on the electric parts as this may cause a hazard.
• Switch off the power and unplug the air cooler before cleaning. Only the casing of the appliance
should be cleaned with a damp cloth.
• Never let the Water Tank overflow.
• Do not place any objects on the louvre.
• Two bottles (Cool-Packs) are included with the unit. Please fill the bottle with water, place in your
refrigerator for twelve hours and once they are frozen, they may be used to provide an even more
cooling effect.
Service

The wires in the mains lead are coloured in
accordance with the following code:
BLUE : NEUTRAL (N)
BROWN : LIVE (L)
GREEN &YELLOW : EARTH (E)
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead
of this appliance may not correspond with the
coloured markings identifying the terminals in
you plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be
connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter “N” or coloured BLACK.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is
marked with the letter “L or coloured RED.
The wire which is coloured GREEN & YELLOW must be connected to the terminal
which is marked with the letter “E” or
or coloured GREEN.
Always ensure that the Mains Cord is located into the Plug through the Cord Guard
or Cable Clamp, and that the Cord Guard screws are lightened to clamp the Cord
(outer sheath and inner coloured wires) in position in the Plug. Make sure the Plug
top is also fitted securely.
This appliance must be protected by a 13-amp fuse in a 13-amp type (BS1363) plug.
Should you need to replace lhe fuse, use only an ASTA approved BS 1362 fuse.
