Remove cap (1) and ribbed nut (2).

Ø1 3/8" (Ø35mm)

Insert air gap (1) through sink deck hole, leaving
approximately 1/2 '' of the body threads showing
above sink deck. (Back the nut (2) down if
necessary).

Thread ribbed nut (1) fully onto body. Tighten
nut (2) firmly. Snap cap (3) onto ribbed nut,
with the slotted vents (4) facing the wall.
Note: Air gap to be installed that the flood level
mark (F/L) shall be at or above the flood level
of the sink or other receptacle which may be
connected to the sanitary drain into which the
air gap discharges.

Connect dishwasher outlet hose (5/8 '' I.D.) (1)
to air gap inlet (smaller diameter leg) (2) and to
dishwasher outlet (3) using hose clamps (4).
Connect drain hose (7/8 '' I.D.) (5) to air gap
outlet (larger dimension leg) (6) and to "Y"
fitting (7) or disposer (8) using hose clamps.
