Panel Track Shades
Installation Instructions
Step 5. SHADE OPERATION
Pull gradually and gently on the cord to draw the panels open and closed.
Step 6. SAFETY
Canadian safety regulations for window coverings requires the use of a cord tensioner on
all continuous loop chain systems. The use of such a device is intended to significantly
reduce the occurrence of infant or small child strangulation injuries or deaths resulting from
the looped pull chains on various window treatment products. The cord tensioner is
pre-installed on the lift chain during manufacturing. The tensioning device should be
mounted in the proper position to pull the chain taut in order to reduce the possibility of
injuy. Please see separate Chain Tensioner installation manual for proper
installation.
CLEANING AND CARE
Fabrics may be feather dusted or vacuumed at a low suction setting. Spots or stains can
be rubbed clean with a damp sponge and mild soap. To avoid discoloration of the material,
we recommend against the use of chemical cleaners or abrasives. If necessary, the
shading may be ultrasonically cleaned by a professional.

Step 1. BRACKET INSTALLATION
Step 2. INSTALL THE PANEL TRACK
Hook the middle ridge of the track on the front lip of the brackets. Press the track into the
back of the brackets and snap into place. For inside mounts with a valance skip to step 4.
For all other mount types, proceed to step 3.
Inside Mount
Brackets must be installed on a level mounting surface to ensure proper shade operation.
Mark the location of the installation brackets with a
pencil on the mounting surface such that each bracket is
no more than 3” from each end of the panel track. Space
additional brackets as needed no more than 48” apart.
Min. inside track mounting depth: 2 1/2”
Inside Mount with Valance:
If you have ordered a valance, place the valance inside
the window frame and install the mounting brackets
through the top cover of the valance. Ensure the valance
is square and aligned with the window frame
All other mount types
(inside/outside no valance, outside with valance):
Secure the brackets using the screws provided ensuring
they are level, in line with one another, and square.
Note: Wall plugs or anchors (not supplied) may be

Step 3. VALANCE INSTALLATION (outside mount only)
If you have ordered a valance with an inside mount panel track, please refer back to step 1.
For outside mount tracks, the valance is installed by pressing the top portion of the valance
into the clips at the top of the installation brackets. Press the valance in until it rests securely
in place.
Step 4. ATTACH THE FABRIC PANELS
Draw the cord so that the carriers are traversed
across the entire track. Install one panel at a
time, working from the back-most carrier
(closest to the window) to the front (closest to
the room).
Unroll the panels to expose the velcro strip at
the top of the panel and stick each panel to a
carrier.
Ensure each panel hangs straight (fig. 1).
