SAFETY GUIDELINES
DO NOT TOUCH fixture housing during operation.
Turn OFF the power and allow approximately 15 minutes for the fixture to cool down before performing any repairs or maintenance.
DO NOT shake fixture, and avoid brute force when installing and/or operating fixture.
DO NOT operate fixture if the power cord is frayed, crimped, damaged and/or if any of the power
cord connectors are damaged and do not insert into the fixture securely with ease.
NEVER force a power cord connector into the fixture. If the power cord or any of its connectors are damaged, replace it immediately with a new cord or connector with the same power rating.
DO NOT block any air ventilation slots. All fan and air inlets must remain clean and never blocked.
Allow approx. 6” (15cm) between fixture and other devices or a wall for proper cooling.
When installing the fixture in a suspended environment, always use mounting hardware that is no less than M10 x 25 mm, and always install fixture with an appropriately rated safety cable.
Only handle the power cord by the plug end, and never pull out the plug by tugging the wire portion of the cord.
During the initial operation of this fixture, a light smoke or smell may emit from the interior of the
fixture. This is a normal process and is caused by excess paint in the interior of the casing burning
off from the heat associated with the lamp and will decrease gradually over time. Consistent
operational breaks will ensure fixture will function properly for many years.
ONLY use the original packaging and materials to transport the fixture in for service.
REPLACEMENT LAMP – LL-PAR 38 150W 110V LAMP
ALWAYS disconnect light from main power and allow 15 minutes for cooling before performing lamp replacement.
NEVER remove the ground prong from the power cable.
Power cords should be safely routed and secured so they are not likely pinched.
Disconnect power cords during long periods of non-use.
Only use recommended rigging hardware as described in this guide.
The fixture should be serviced by qualified service personnel when: A. The power-supply cord or the plug has been damaged. B. Objects have fallen onto, or liquid has been spilled into, the appliance. C. The appliance has been exposed to rain or water.
D. The appliance does not appear to operate normally or exhibits a marked change in
performance.

MAINTENANCE GUIDELINES
DISCONNECT POWER BEFORE PERFORMING ANY MAINTENANCE!
CLEANING
Frequent cleaning is recommended to ensure proper function, optimized light output, and an extended life. The frequency of cleaning depends on the environment in which the device operates: damp,
smoky, or particularly dirty environments can cause greater accumulation of dirt on the surface of the
device and/or light fixture optics. Clean the external surface and the front lens of the light periodically
with a soft cloth to avoid dirt/debris accumulation
NEVER use alcohol, solvents, or ammonia-based cleaners.
MAINTENANCE
Regular inspections are recommended to insure proper function and extended life. There are no user serviceable parts inside these devices. Please refer all other service issues to an authorized ADJ service technician. Should you need any spare parts, please order genuine parts from your local ADJ
dealer.
Please refer to the following points during routine inspections:
A detailed review by an approved electrical engineer every three months, to make sure the circuit contacts are in good condition and prevent overheating.
Be sure all screws and fasteners are securely tightened at all times. Loose screws may fall out during normal operation, resulting in damage or injury as larger parts could fall.
Check for any deformations on the light housing, lens, gel frame, rigging hardware and rigging
points (ceiling, suspension, trussing). Deformations could allow for dust to enter into the devices. Damaged rigging points or unsecured rigging could cause the devices to fall and seriously injure a
person(s).
Electric power supply cables must not show any damage, material fatigue, or sediments.

nics.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
A qualified electrician should be used for all electrical connections and/or installations.
DO NOT INSTALL THIS DEVICE IF YOU ARE NOT QUALIFIED TO DO SO!
OVERHEAD RIGGING REQUIRES EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE, INCLUDING CALCULATING WORKING LOAD LIMITS, KNOWLEDGE OF INSTALLATION MATERIAL BEING USED, AND PERIODIC SAFETY INSPECTION OF ALL INSTALLATION MATERIAL, AMONG OTHER SKILLS. IF YOU LACK THESE QUALIFICATIONS, DO NOT ATTEMPT THE INSTALLATION YOURSELF. IMPROPER INSTALLATION CAN RESULT IN BODILY INJURY.
BEFORE RIGGING/MOUNTING FIXTURE TO ANY METAL TRUSS/STRUCTURE OR CEILING, A PROFESSIONAL EQUIPMENT INSTALLER MUST BE CONSULTED TO DETERMINE WHETHER THE METAL TRUSS/STRUCTURE OR CEILING IS PROPERLY CERTIFIED TO SAFELY HOLD THE WEIGHT OF THE FIXTURE. THE MOUNTING SURFACE OR STRUCTURE MUST BE CAPABLE OF SUPPORTING A MINIMUM POINT LOAD OF 10 TIMES THE WEIGHT OF THE DEVICES.
MAKE SURE SCREWS AND/OR ANCHOR BOLTS (NOT INCLUDED) FIT SECURELY INTO MOUNTING HOLES!
MAKE SURE TO DRILL SCREWS AND/OR ANCHOR BOLTS INTO WOOD OR METAL! DO NOT MOUNT THE FIXTURE TO A CEILING OR SURFACE MADE OF DRY WALL!
FOR ADDED PROTECTION, MOUNT FIXTURE AWAY FROM WALKING PATHS, SEATING AREAS, OR AREAS IN WHICH UNAUTHORIZED PERSONNEL CAN REACH THE FIXTURE.
NEVER STAND DIRECTLY BELOW THE FIXTURE WHEN MOUNTING, REMOVING, OR SERVICING.
FIXTURE MUST ALL BE INSTALLED FOLLOWING ALL LOCAL, NATIONAL, AND COUNTRY COMMERICAL ELECTRICAL AND CONTRUCTION CODES AND REGULATIONS.

INSTALLATION
AIMING THE LIGHT SOURCE
Experiment with different angles and distances before mounting the light in its final position in order to
achieve the desired result.
MOUNTING LIGHT SOURCE
The light can be mounted onto a truss using a properly rated clamp (not included), or to a flat surface
using the mounting hole on the top of the bracket/yoke. Any mounting surface must be able to support at least 10 times the total weight of the light. Please consult a professional for ceiling installation
guidance.

GEL FRAME
Gel sheets (optional) can be used to modify the light output of the fixture. To use a gel sheet, slide the gel frame upwards from the light fixture and place a gel sheet in the frame. Trim the gel sheet, if desired, and reinstall the gel frame by sliding it back into the fixture.
12
LAMP REPLACEMENT
Make sure light is disconnected from the power source, and allow 15 minutes for the fixture to cool if has been operating. Remove the gel frame, then unscrew bulb by turning counter clockwise. Replace bulb and reassemble the fixture.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
The light does not turn on.
Confirm the light is connected to AC power.
Check the circuit breaker that controls the AC outlet the light is plugged into, and reset or replace the breaker if it has been tripped.
Confirm the AC power cord from the light is not damaged or cut.
Confirm the light bulb is not damaged or loose.
If none of these solutions work, please contact ADJ Customer Service.
