Questo BOOSTER è stato progettato per darvi la qualità e i vantaggi di una fonte di energia portatile. Per
conoscere a fondo tutte le caratteristiche del vostro BOOSTER leggete attentamente queste istruzioni e
conservatele per future necessità.

Avvertenze importanti per la sicurezza.

1. L’uso di accessori non consigliati o non commercializzati dal produttore del BOOSTER potrebbe causare danni

all’apparecchio o alle persone.

2. Quando si usa l’alimentatore LESA o il cavo spina accendisigari, per scollegare l’apparecchio tirare la spina e
mai il cavo.

3. Non ricaricate il BOOSTER quando la spina del caricatore o il cavo con spina per accendisigari sono
danneggiati, sostituiteli immediatamente.

4. Il BOOSTER può essere usato con ogni condizione atmosferica: pioggia, neve, a temperature basse o alte.

5. Non immergere il BOOSTER in acqua.

6. Non utilizzare il BOOSTER nelle vicinanze di liquidi infiammabili non protetti da idonei contenitori.

7. Se il BOOSTER subisce colpi forti o viene danneggiato in altri modi farlo controllare da tecnici qualificati.

IL BOOSTER non deve essere lasciato completamente scarico per un lungo periodo di tempo. I danni
all’accumulatore potrebbero essere irreversibili con la conseguenza di ridurre sensibilmente le prestazioni.
Quando l’apparecchio rimane inutilizzato per lunghi periodi, è necessario ricaricarlo almeno ogni quattro
(4) mesi con l’alimentatore LESA o con il cavo per accendisigari.

Caratteristiche tecniche.

1. L’accumulatore del BOOSTER eroga 1700 A di spunto (Norme Americane) nei primi secondi di avviamento

iniziale, poi erogherà un minimo di 600A in continuo, più che sufficiente per avviare la maggior parte delle
autovetture con motori a benzina e diesel.

2. Pinze con cavo di rame a sei fili.

3. Alimentazione elettrica multifunzione. Uso tramite la presa dell’accendisigari.

Protezione tramite interruttore termico automatico da 20 A.

4. Pulsante di controllo carica a indicatori luminosi. Per un controllo completo tenere premuto il pulsante “TEST”
per 10 secondi: 5 LED ILLUMINATI = CARICA COMPLETA con alimentatore inserito; quando si disconnette
l’alimentatore, rimarranno accesi solo 4 LED.

Caratteristiche di sicurezza attiva.

1. Le pinze positiva e negativa sono fissate in appositi alloggiamenti muniti di calza e copertura in plastica che

garantiscono la massima sicurezza.

2. Le scanalature di guida bloccano i cavi evitando inutili penzolii e imbrattature.

3. Il BOOSTER, con la sua batteria a energia sigillata (12 V/18 Ah), e’ protetto contro le perdite elettrolitiche. Puo’

essere appoggiato e/o utilizzato in qualsiasi posizione.

Procedimento di ricarica.

1. Premendo il pulsante “TEST”: gli indicatori luminosi si accenderanno in sequenza da “rosso” verso “verde”.

L’ultimo LED verde si accenderà soltanto quando il BOOSTER e’ completamente ricaricato (con il cavo di
ricarica ancora inserito). Una volta rimosso il cavo di ricarica resteranno accesi 4 LED. Dopo ogni utilizzo, si
raccomanda di ricaricare l’apparecchio con l’apposito alimentatore automatico che permette di ripristinare
completamente l’accumulatore senza rischio di sovraccarica.

Tre metodi per ricaricare il BOOSTER.

1. Dopo che e’ stato avviato il motore lasciare collegato il BOOSTER ancora per altri 3-5 minuti.

2. Ricarica attraverso il cavo con spina per accendisigari LESA1 inserito nella presa accendisigari durante la

marcia. La ricarica richiede un tempo da 3 a 4 ore.

3. Ricarica attraverso l’alimentatore automatico LESA 5A. Inserire la spina del caricatore nella presa a muro e se
l’apparecchio e’ completamente scarico, lasciare ricaricare per 30 ore. La maggior parte delle ricariche può
essere eseguita in 12 ore. Il caricatore LESA 5A ha incorporato un interruttore che disinserisce
automaticamente l’alimentazione di corrente non appena la ricarica e’ completata, per cui non e’ necessario
scollegare il LESA 5A, se non si deve usare il BOOSTER.

ISTRUZIONI PER L’USO
ATTENZIONE: AL SUO PRIMO UTILIZZO CARICARE IL BOOSTER PER ALMENO 48 ORE CONSECUTIVE.
Impiego per avviamento di soccorso.

1. Proteggere gli occhi da possibili imprevisti.

2. Fissare la pinza rossa +

al polo positivo della batteria da caricare e la pinza nera – alla massa del motore

(telaio). Assicurarsi che i due cavi non vengano in contatto con ventole, cinghie o altre parti in movimento.

3. Durante l’avviamento del motore stare lontani dalla batteria.

4. Dopo aver avviato il motore scollegare per prima la pinza nera negativa,

poi scollegare la pinza rossa positiva.

5. Rimettere immediatamente le pinze nei rispettivi alloggiamenti sul retro dell’apparecchio.

Avvertenza! Se il motore non si avvia entro 20 secondi, non insistere. Lasciare raffreddare l’accumulatore
interno del BOOSTER per almeno 3 minuti, prima di riprovare ad avviare il motore. Osservare
scrupolosamente questa regola per evitare di danneggiare l’apparecchio.

Impiego come alimentatore e fonte di energia supplementare per veicoli.

Tramite il cavo LESA 1 collegare il BOOSTER alla presa dell'accendisigari per alimentare l’impianto della vettura.
IL BOOSTER e’ uno strumento essenziale per sostituire una batteria di automobile in tutti i suoi impieghi. Molti
autoveicoli sono equipaggiati con componenti elettronici muniti di memoria come: sistemi di allarme, computer di
bordo, radio, telefono ecc.; in caso di sostituzione della batteria queste memorie verrebbero cancellate.
Le memorie possono essere salvate collegando il BOOSTER alla presa accendisigari dell’autoveicolo tramite il
cavo LESA 1 prima di sostituire la batteria.

Fonte di energia supplementare multiuso.

Il BOOSTER e’ una fonte di energia portatile diversificata per tutti gli apparecchi elettrici a 12 V. muniti di una spina
per accendisigari. La presa di corrente e’ protetta fino a 20A.

about the characteristics of your BOOSTER in detail read these instructions carefully and keep them in a safe

Important safety warnings.

1. The use of accessories not recommended or sold by the BOOSTER manufacturer could cause damage to the

appliance or to people.

2. When using the LESA power supply unit or the lighter plug cable, always pull on the plug and not the cable

to

unplug the device.

3. Do not recharge the BOOSTER if the plug of the charger or lighter plug cable are damaged but replace them
immediately.

4. The BOOSTER may be used whatever the weather conditions: rain, snow, high or low temperatures.

5. Do not immerse the BOOSTER in water.

6. Do not use the BOOSTER close to inflammable liquids not protected by suitable containers.

7. If the BOOSTER suffers a sharp blow or is damaged in any other way have it checked by a qualified technician.

The BOOSTER should not be left completely flat for long periods of time. The damage to the accumulator
could be irreversible thus considerably reducing performance. When the device is not used for long
periods of time it should be recharged at least once every four (4) months using the LESA power supply
unit or the lighter cable.

Technical characteristics.

1. The BOOSTER accumulator supplies 1700 A at breakaway (American regulations) in the first few seconds of

initial starting, then issues a minimum of 600A in continuous, more than enough to start most petrol and diesel
fuelled cars.

2. Clamps with six-wire copper cable.

3. Multifunction electric power supply. Use by means of the lighter plug.

Protection provided by 20A automatic thermic switch.

4. Light-up indicator charge control button. For full control keep the “TEST” button pressed for at least 10
seconds: 5 LEDs lit up = charging complete with power supply connected; when the power supply is
disconnected, only 4 LEDs still lit up.

Active safety features.

1. The negative and positive clamps are fixed into special slots fitted with braid and plastic coverings which

ensure the maximum safety.

2. The guide slots block the cables preventing unnecessary slack and fouling.

3. The BOOSTER, with its sealed energy battery (12 V/18 Ah), is protected against electrolytic leakage. It can be

laid down and/or used in any position.

Recharging procedure.

1. By pressing the “TEST” button, the LEDs will light up in sequence from “red” to “green”. The last green LED will

only light up when the BOOSTER is fully recharged (with the charging cable still connected). When the
charging cable is disconnected, only 4 LEDs still lit up. We recommend recharging the appliance after each
time it is used with the special automatic power supply unit which allows the accumulator to be fully recharged
without the risk of overload.

Three ways of recharging the BOOSTER.

1. After the engine has been started leave the BOOSTER connected for a further 3-5 minutes.

2. Recharge using the cable with the lighter plug LESA1 inserted in the lighter socket while the engine is running.

Recharging will take 3-4 hours.

3. Recharge using the automatic power supply unit LESA 5A. Insert the plug of the charger in the wall socket and
if the device is completely flat, leave to recharge for 30 hours. Most recharging will be completed in 12 hours.
The LESA 5A charger has a built-in switch which automatically turns off the power supply when the recharging
is complete, so that it is not necessary to unplug the LESA 5A, when you do not use the BOOSTER.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
WARNING: BEFORE ITS FIRST USE, THE BOOSTER SHOULD BE CHARGED AT LEAST FOR 48 HOURS

CONSECUTIVELY
Using for emergency starts.

1. Protect your eyes from any accidents.

2. Attach the red clamp +

to the positive pole of the battery to be charged and the black clamp – to the earth of
the engine (car frame). Make sure that the two cables do not come into contact with fans, belts or other moving
parts.

3. When starting the engine stay away from the battery.

4. After getting the engine started, disconnect the black negative clamp first,

then disconnect the red positive

clamp.

5. Replace the clamps in their special slots at the rear of the appliance immediately.
Warning! If the engine does not start within 20 seconds, do not insist. Let the internal battery of the
BOOSTER cool down for at least 3 minutes, before trying to start the engine again. Strictly observe this
rule to prevent damage to the appliance.

Use as a power supply and a supplementary source of energy for vehicles.

To power the vehicle, connect the BOOSTER to the lighter socket, using the LESA 1 cable.
The BOOSTER is an essential instrument, taking the place of the car battery in all its applications. Many cars have
electronic components with a memory such as: alarm systems, on board computers, radio, telephone etc; when
replacing the battery these memories would be cancelled.
They can be saved by connecting BOOSTER to the lighter socket of the car using the LESA 1 cable, before
replacing the car battery.

Multipurpose source of supplementary energy.

The BOOSTER is a diversified source of portable energy for all 12V electrical appliances fitted with a plug for car
lighters. The electrical socket is protected up to 20A.
