PROGRAMMABLE THERMOSTAT

Install the thermostat at a suitable place where its operation cannot be affected by direct fl ow of hot air from the heater, sunshine or other disturbing effects. Neither install it on an external wall. The installation height should be approx. 1.5 m above the fl oor. Place the thermostat in the “reference room”, such as the living room (the heating source will switch according to the temperature in this room).
The installation must only be done by a properly qualifi ed person!
Before installation, disconnect the power supply!
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
INSTALLATION AND LOCATION
1) Switch off the main circuit breaker.
2) Loosen the locking screw and remove the front part of the thermostat with the electronics (Fig. 1).
3) Fix the back part of the thermostat to the wall (Fig. 2).
4) Connect the wires to the terminal board; take heed to proper tightening of the terminals.
5) Put on the front part of the thermostat with LCD and ensure the thermostat with the locking screw against splitting.
6) Switch on the main circuit breaker. If everything is OK, the LCD shows the current temperature.
7) Set the thermostat parameters and the required temperature program according to the instructions.

FUNCTIONS AND SETTING
Push any button to activate the display backlight. Then push the MENU button to enter

CURRENT DAY AND TIME SETTING (CLo)
Push twice the MENU button; choose the CLo function with the
button; confi rm with the MENU button. The hour indication is fl ashing on the display, set the current hour with the button and confi rm with the MENU button. Similarly, proceed with the minutes, day and year, confi rm each setting with the MENU button. Return to the menu by means of long push of the MENU button.

PARAMETER SETTING (PAr)
Push twice the MENU button; chose the PAr function with the button; confi rm with the MENU button. Set the parameters as follows:
P1 economical temperature (17 °C by default)
- The display shows P1
- Set the required economical temperature with the button and confi rm it with the MENU button.

P2 comfortable temperature (23 °C by default)
- The display shows P2
- Set the required comfortable temperature with the button and confi rm it with the MENU button.

- With the or button, set the minimum time of the thermostat switch-on in minutes. Choose it according to the type of the heating system used within the range of 1 to 5 minutes (see the table) and confi rm with the confi rm it with the MENU button.

P6 current temperature correction (0 °C by default)
- The display shows P6

or button, set the correction within the range
of -5 °C to +5 °C and confi rm it with the MENU button.
It is used to correct the temperature measured by the thermostat. The setting must be done only after 12-hour operation, when the internal sensor temperature has stabilized. Measure the room temperature with a thermometer; if it is different from the thermostat temperature, set the correction.
P7 keyboard lock code (not set by default)
- The display shows P7
- With
or button, set a combination of 4 digits (from 0 to 9)
and confi rm it with the MENU button.
The keys will be locked within 1 minute (after entry in the basic display); the LCD shows the LOC message. If you push a key, the LCD prompts you to enter the keyboard code; after entering the correct code, you can make any changes (control elements are functional again). The control elements are locked again automatically after the
setting is completed (within approx. 1 minute).
RECOMMENDATIONS:
- Record the keyboard code in the table;
- The code can be cancelled with the - - - - option;
- If you lose the code, you must restore the default settings of the thermostat. Hold RESET (see page2). Not before the sign rESE will appear on the LCD screen leave the

TEMPERATURE PROGRAM SETTING (PROG)
Push twice the MENU button; select the PROG function with the
button and confi rm it with the MENU button.
CHOOSE A DAY OR BLOCK OF DAYS:
- With the want to program:
1= Monday 5= Friday 12345= Monday to Friday
2= Tuesday 6= Saturday 67= Saturday to Sunday
3= Wednesday 7= Sunday 1234567= all week
4= Thursday
- After selection, push the MENU button.
CHOOSE THE 1ST CHANGE TIME:
- The fi rst time change setting (1) appears on the display; the time value is fl ashing
- Set the fi rst change time with the or button (minimum step of 10 min) and confi rm it with the MENU button.
CHOOSE THE REQUIRED TEMPERATURE:
- The required temperature with the are preset in the parameters P1, P2 and P3 (see page 5).
- Confi rm with the MENU button again.
- The second time change setting (2) of the same day appears automatically on the display.
- Repeat this procedure until you set all (up to 6) of the time changes; then exit the programming mode by long push of the MENU button.
- Choose the AUTO function; the thermostat starts working according to the preset program.

SHORT TERM TEMPERATURE CHANGE
In the AUTO mode, push any button, and then the or button to make a short-term change of the temperature. The thermostat will keep this temperature until the next temperature change given by the program.

button and confi rm it with the MENU button. The thermostat will switch off. The OFF message appears on the display. To cancel this function, push twice the MENU button and choose another mode (AUTO or MANU) with the Note: The anti-freeze mode is still active.

KEY LOCK
It is used to lock the keyboard as a protection against undesirable operation. Push the MENU and locked. The LOC message appears on the display. To cancel, unlock, you can simultaneously push the MENU and

ANTI-FREEZE MODE
If the room temperature falls below 3 °C, the thermostat automatically switches the connected device (heater). The FrO message appears on the display. As soon as the temperature rises by 0.5 °C, the thermostat resumes the preset mode.
AUTOMATIC CHANGE OF SUMMER/WINTER TIME
If the current time is set correctly, the change from the summer to winter time and vice versa is automatic.
