Microphone System
General Description
The RE-V Wireless Microphone system combines frequency agility and ease of use like no other. The RE-V transmitters and receivers operate over a 24 MHz bandwidth in the UHF portion of the spectrum. The high quality audio circuitry and advanced Radio Frequency (RF) signal processing offer broadcast quality signal-tonoise and audio clarity.
By combining four different frequency bands up to 44 simultaneous systems can work together on one stage. Advanced Clearscan™ scans all available channels and displays a sorted list of the best coordinated groups of channels. The scanning continues and sorts for the clearest channels in the coordinated group giving the user the best possible channel for their location.
The entire audio path has been optimized to provide the truest representation of a wired microphone sound possible in a wireless system. The Electro-Voice exclusive guitar audio optimization in the bodypack transmitter and the receiver combine to give that “wired” sound back to the bassist and guitarist. The guitar setting lowers the low end response down to 30Hz, pads the input, and changes the audio for the best response possible from a wireless.
The all new REV-H concert handheld transmitter is about the size and shape of a wired microphone to encourage proper microphone technique and uninhibited performances. An alternative REV-PH presentation handheld includes a user accessible on/off/mute switch and another lightweight, small handheld.
The Single and Dual receivers are full 19” rack mount units with integrated mounting hardware and IEC universal power supplies. The REV-D features antenna pass through that allows 6 channels of receive to be connected to two antennas with just the cables that come with the units. Both units have parallel RJ45 jacks that allow the connection of CAN bus monitoring and control with a PC through the UCC-1 USB to CAN converter.
