The Electrolux THERMALINE is designed for the very heavy duty requirements of hotels, institutions, hospitals, central kitchens and in-flight kitchens. The range consists of a wide choice of elements that can be installed as individual, free-standing units or assembled into a complete cooking suite made virtually seamless by means of hygienic connecting systems. 900 mm deep units are also modular with C90. The gas heated tilting bratt pan has a plain steel or polished chrome nickel steel plated base and is used for browning, braising, preparing sauces, sautéing, poaching, steaming, boiling, stewing, and preparing white sauces etc.
Performance features & user benefits
• Multipurpose cooking surface guarantees great flexibility in the cooking processes: Roasting / Browning / Stewing and Preparation of sauces / Sautéing and Boiling.
• The flat bottom allows an even distribution of fat. The minimum use of fat offers optimum grilling results.
• The bottom remains free of distortion and cracks thanks to cold-water quenching.
• The thick bottom plate retains the heat and ensures excellent cooking results.
• The manual tilting drive requires low effort to tilt the pan and the pouring speed can be precisely adjusted. The mechanismis self-locking in every position.
• The top of the closed cover can be used as a convenient additional storage or working surface.
• Heat insulated, weight-compensated lid is easy to use, cuts energy requirements, limits heat radiation for kitchen staff and prevents the return flow of condensation into the food.

• The tilting axis is located at the front and upper position of the pan to keep the pouring path short when filling different types of vessels. The edge of the large
pouring lip can be combined with a strainer (option). 
Controls
• Electronic microprocessor control with digital display consents pre-selection of cooking temperature (from 50 to 250°C), time and start time ensures adherence to pre-programmed cooking process.
• The Food Sensor provides efficient temperature control (no overcooking): the power is supplied as and when required to keep the set temperature value without exceeding it.

• Highly visible and clearly arranged switch control panel with one temperature selection knob, a green operation lamp and a white power control lamp.
Construction
• AISI 304 stainless steel construction.
• Multipurpose cooking surface: compound in special 18 mm thickness, plated with 3,0 mm Stainless Steel 316Ti
• Heat insulated, weight-compensated lid is easy to use, cuts energy requirements, limits heat radiation for kitchen staff and prevents the return flow of condensation into the food.
• Gas appliances have a robust multiple burner with electronic ignition and monitoring for a safer operation. Operation with natural and LPG (on request).
• The water hose with shower (optional) integrated into the console makes light work of filling and cleaning the pan.
• Easy to clean cooking surface due to large-radius edges and corners.
• IPX4 water resistant.
• 98% recyclable by weight & packing free of toxic substances.
Hygiene & Safety
• No visible screws & minimised presence of narrow gaps for easier cleaning of the sides in order to meet the highest hygiene standards.
