C. 蒸氣控制旋鈕
旋轉此旋鈕來選擇熨燙衣物所對應之適合蒸氣量。
＝無蒸氣
＝低檔蒸氣
＝高檔蒸氣
＝自清功能
D. 噴水按鈕
按下此按鈕，水霧會從噴水口噴出，以濕潤難熨燙的衣物。
E. 強力蒸氣按鈕
按下此按鈕，強而有力的蒸氣會從底板噴出，以去除較難消除的皺褶。
F. 指示燈
接通電源時，指示燈亮並呈紅色，熨斗開始預熱，一旦達到預設的
溫度，指示燈就熄滅。工作過程中，指示燈時亮時滅，使底板的溫
度保持在所設置的溫度。

根據所熨燙的衣物質料，旋轉調溫旋鈕至適當的刻度，

14. 請勿使用非原廠零配件，以免引起火災、漏電或造成其他傷害。
15. 不可在戶外使用。
16. 碰觸本機、電源線或插頭時請保持手部乾燥。

特別說明
1. 為了避免電路超載，切勿在同一個電路使用另一個高功率電器。
2. 如果有必要使用延長線，應使用10安培以上的延長線，低於10安培的延長
線容易過度加熱。小心放好延長線路以免電線被拉扯或被絆倒。
3. 為了避免由於疏忽而造成保險絲重設，此產品不允許經過外部開關裝置(如

●產品操作
A. 第一次使用前
1. 從熨斗底板上取下所有標籤或保護膜。
2. 在水箱內加水，將電熨斗調溫旋鈕調至最高檔位，然後在一塊濕布上熨燙
幾分鐘，以徹底清潔機內沉積物。
※首次使用時，可能會有異味發出，此屬正常情況。
B. 使用準備
▲水箱注水
注意: 切勿將熨斗浸入水中
1. 確保熨斗的插頭已經拔掉。
2. 將蒸氣控制旋鈕調至無蒸氣檔位
3. 打開注水口，將電熨斗向後傾斜，然後用量杯裝水注入水箱內。 圖2
注意: 切勿讓水位超過最高水位線。（圖2）
請勿將香水、醋、澱粉、除垢劑、燙衣劑或其他化學品放入水箱。
如果您所在地區的自來水硬度很高，我們建議您將自來水與等量的蒸餾水
混合後再使用，或僅使用蒸餾水。

※熨燙指示
• 熨燙衣物前，先檢查衣物上是否有熨燙指示標籤。在任何情況下，請遵
循熨燙指示。如果無熨燙指示，但若知道衣服質料，請參閱說明書後頁
附表指示。
• 若不知道衣服質料與適合的熨燙溫度，建議可在衣物上不容易看見的地
方熨燙，找出合適的熨燙溫度。
• 本說明書後頁之附表不適用於經過特殊處理的紡織品（如光澤、加褶、
隆起等），請一律用低溫熨燙。
• 先將衣物依熨燙溫度分類，例：毛料衣物、棉料衣物等分批進行熨燙。
• 電熨斗加熱的速度比冷卻速度快。因此，請由低溫熨燙的衣物開始熨
燙，如合成纖維衣料。
• 含混紡的衣料，則根據低溫質料的溫度來熨燙。
• 對於絲綢、羊毛和合成材料，請由織物的內面熨燙，以防止出現反光的
小塊。且為防止水漬印，請避免使用噴水功能。
• 絲絨及類似織品應以同一方向輕輕熨燙。熨燙時需隨時移動電熨斗。
• 純毛料（100%毛料）可使用蒸氣，但最好先墊塊布，然後將蒸氣旋鈕調
到最大檔位來熨燙。
• 切勿在衣服的拉鏈、鈕扣上熨燙以免損壞底板。
3. 插上電源。
4. 如果指示燈熄滅，應待指示燈再度亮起時再開始熨燙。
熨燙期間，指示燈會時亮時滅。

只要達到設定的溫度，就立即開始噴出蒸氣

▲垂直蒸氣功能
當熨斗保持豎立時，也可以使用強力蒸氣功能。此功能可用於去除懸掛衣
物、窗簾上的褶皺。
注意: 切勿將蒸氣直接對著他人。
▲自動斷電功能（此功能僅適用於ESI510/ESI520）
當熨斗一段時間沒有被使用或移動，安全斷電系統將自動關閉加熱元件。
當指示燈開始閃爍，蜂鳴器連續發出警示音，則表示熨斗的電源已經被
安全斷電系統關閉。
• 在水平狀態時，30 秒後會自動關閉。
• 在垂直狀態時，8 分鐘後會自動關閉。
讓熨斗再次加熱
• 提起熨斗或輕輕移動，指示燈則熄滅。
• 如果指示燈亮著，則應等待其熄滅，再開始熨燙。
• 如果指示燈熄滅，則開始熨燙。
E. 清潔和保養
▲熨燙後
1. 拔下電源插頭，讓熨斗充分冷卻。
2. 用濕布和非腐蝕性（液體）清潔劑抹去底板上的水垢和其他沉積物。
底板冷卻前，任何時候切勿接觸底板。
為了保持底板光滑，應避免底板與金屬物體接觸。切勿使用磨砂布、醋
或其他化學品清潔底板。
3. 用濕布清潔熨斗機身的上部。
4. 定期用清水沖洗水箱。清洗後將水箱中的水全部倒出。

▲雙重除鈣系統
‧為了防止水垢堵塞蒸氣孔，本產品內部有一除鈣裝置，它能吸收不易溶解的
鈣離子，釋放出可溶性的鈉離子，這樣水就得到軟化，大大減慢鈣在本產品內
沉澱累積的速度。
自清功能可除去水垢顆粒。
‧應每週使用一次自清功能。如果當地的水質特別硬（如：熨燙時底板上出現
水垢薄片），則應增加使用自清功能的頻率。
▲使用自清功能
1. 將蒸氣控制旋鈕設定到無蒸氣位置
。
2. 將調溫旋鈕調至最大MAX。
3. 將水箱注滿至最高水位MAX。
請勿將醋或其他除垢劑注入水箱。
4. 插上電源插頭。
5. 當指示燈熄滅時，拔下熨斗的電源插頭。
6. 在水槽上方手持熨斗，並將蒸氣控制旋鈕設定到自清位置
。此時，蒸氣
和沸水會從底板蒸氣孔沖出，水垢（如果有的話）也一併沖出。
7. 柔和地搖動熨斗，直到水箱內的水用盡。
8. 自清功能使用完畢後，請將蒸氣控制旋鈕調至無蒸氣位置
。
9. 如果從熨斗中沖出的水仍有水垢顆粒，則應再次使用自清功能。
▲完成自清過程後
1. 插上電源插頭，讓底板加熱烘乾。
2. 當指示燈熄滅時，拔下熨斗的電源插頭。
3. 將熨斗放在一塊用過的布上輕輕地前後移動，以除去留在底板上的水漬。
4. 待熨斗底板冷卻，然後存放好。

F. 儲存及收藏

Turn the knob to select the desired steam output for each garment.

D. Spray button
Pressing the button instantly provides a ne mist spray to dampen hard-toiron fabrics.
E. Burst steam button
Pressing the button instantly provides a powerful shot of steam to eliminate
stubborn wrinkles.
F. Light
When the iron is plugged, the light is illuminated as red, which indicates that
the iron is preheating. Once it reaches the preset temperature, the light turns
off. During operation, the light turns on and off to maintain the temperature of
the soleplate to the preset temperature.

Turn this dial to appropriate temperature setting varying from different

Please read through these operating instructions carefully. Above all please
observe the safety instructions on the rst few pages of these operating
instructions! Please keep these operating instructions for future reference.
Pass them on to any subsequent owner of the appliance.
Safety
Instructions
This appliance corresponds to accepted technological standards with regards
to safety and to the Appliance Safety Law. Nevertheless as a manufacturer we
are committed to familiarise you with the following safety instructions:
CHILD SAFETY
• Do not leave the appliance running unattended or let children near the
appliance unsupervised.
• Discard all packaging to avoid the risk of suffocation of children or pets.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
1. Before you connect the appliance, check if the voltage of wall outlet
corresponds to that indicated on the rating plate.
2. If the appliance is provided with an earthed plug, it must be plugged into
an earthed wall socket.
3. Check the cord regularly for possible damage.
4. Do not use the appliance if the main cord, plug, light or the appliance itself
shows visible damage, or the appliance has been dropped or is leaking.
Take it to Electrolux's service center or dealers for examination and repair
in order to avoid a hazard.
5. Do not allow the cord to come into contact with the soleplate when it is
hot.
6. Burns can occur from touching hot metal parts, hot water, or steam. Use
caution when you turn a steam iron upside down - there may be hot water
in the reservoir.
7. Never immerse the iron in water or other liquids. If this has happened, do
not use this appliance any more; dispose of the appliance.
8. Keep the iron out of the reach of children.
9. Do not leave iron unattended while connected or on an ironing board.
10. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with

reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction

11. Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
12. Always place or use the appliance on a stable, level and horizontal
surface.
13. When you have nished ironing, when you clean the appliance, when you
ll or empty the water tank and also when you leave the iron even for a
short while, set the steam control to position

and remove the plug from the wall socket.
14. The use of accessory which is not recommended by manufacturer may
cause injury to persons or damage to appliance.
15. Do not use outdoors.
16. Do not use the appliance or contact the main cord and plug with wet
hands.
17. Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate another high wattage appliance
on the same circuit.
2. If an extension cord is absolutely necessary, a 10-ampere(or above)
cord should be used, cords rated for less amperage may overheat. Care
should be taken to arrange the cord so that it cannot be pulled or tripped
over.
3. To avoid the fuse to reset due to carelessness, the appliance should not
be connected to an external switch(e.g. timer) or a device that can control
the connection and disconnection of the circuit regularly.
Operation
A. Before the rst use
1. Remove any sticker or protective foil from the soleplate.
2. Fill water into the tank, heat up the iron in ●●● setting over a piece of
damp cloth for several minutes on the purpose of removing any residue
on the soleplate.
Note: It is normal that strange odor comes out from the iron for
the rst use. This will cease after a short while.

B. Preparing for use

Filling the water tank
Note: Never immerse the iron in water
1. Make sure the appliance is unplugged.
2. Set the steam control to position
(=no steam)
3. Open the lling opening, tilt the iron backward, then ll proper water
into water tank by a measuring cup.
Note: Do not ll the water tank above the MAX level. (Fig. 2)
Do not put the perfume, vinegar, starch, descaling agents, ironing aids
or other chemicals in the water tank.
If the tap water in your area is very hard, we advise you to mix it with an
equal amount of distilled water or to use distilled water only.

Setting the temperature
1. Put the iron on its heel.
2. Set the required ironing temperature by turning the temperature dial to
the appropriate position.

Check the laundry care label for the required ironing temperature.
● Synthetic fabric (e.g. acrylic, viscose, polyamide, polyester)
● Silk
●● Wool
●●●Cotton, linen

Ironing tips
• Always check rst whether a label with ironing instructions is attached
to the article. Follow these ironing instructions in any case. If no ironinginstruction label is provided, but you know the fabric material, please
refer to the additional table for direction.
• If you do not know what kind or kinds of fabric an article is made of,
determine the right ironing temperature by ironing a part that will not be
visible when you wear of use the article.
• The additaional table is not applicable to those fabrics through special
treatment e.g. shining, frill, projecting etc. Use low temperature for
these particular fabrics.
• Always at rst divide the clothes according to ironing temperatures.

Woolen fabrics and cotton fabrics, etc. should be ironed separately.
• The iron heats up quicker than cooling down, therefore, you should
start ironing the articles requiring the lowest temperature such as those
made of synthetic ber.
• If the fabric consists of various kinds of bers, you must always select
the lowest ironing temperature to iron the composition of those bers.
• Silk and other fabrics that are likely to become shiny should be ironed
on the inner side. To prevent staining, do not spray water straight on
silk or other delicate fabrics.
• Velvet and other textures that rapidly become shiny should be ironed in
one direction with light pressure applied. Always keep the iron moving
at any moment.
• Pure wool fabrics (100% wool) may be ironed with the iron set a steam
position. Preferably set steam control to the maximum position and use
a dry cloth as a mat.
• Never iron over zip, rivet in the cloth. This will damage the soleplate.
3. Plug in the iron.
4. When the light has gone out, wait a while before you start ironing.
The temperature light will go on from time to time during ironing.
C. Using the appliance

Steaming ironing
1. Make sure that there is enough water in the water tank.
2. Select the recommended ironing temperature (See chapter “Preparing
for use”, section “Setting the temperature”)
3. After the light has gone out, set the steam control to the appropriate
steam position.
• Low steam(temperature setting from ●● to ●●●)
• High steam (temperature setting from ●●● to MAX)
The iron will start steaming as soon as the set temperature has been
reached.

1. Set the steam control to position

Spray function
You can use the spray function to remove stubborn creases at any
temperature.
1. Make sure that there is enough water in the water tank.
2. Press the spray button
several times to moisten the article to be
ironed.

Burst steam function
A powerful shot of steam helps to remove stubborn creases.
Note: The burst steam function can only be used at temperature settings
between ●●● to MAX.
• Press and release the burst steam button
.
Wait a while before using the button again to avoid splattering.
Notice: Never direct the steam at people

Vertical steam
The burst steam function can also be used when you are holding the
iron in vertical position. This is useful for removing crease from hanging
clothes, curtains, etc.

Automatic shut-off (Only applied to ESI510/ESI520)
The electronic shut-off function automatically switches the heating
element off if the iron has not been move a while.
The light starts blinking to indicate that the iron has been switched off
by the safety shut-off function.
• In horizontal position, this will happen after 30 seconds.
• In vertical position, this will happen after 8 minutes.
To let the iron heat up again
• Pick up the iron or move it slightly. The light goes out.
• If the light goes on, wait for it to go out before you start ironing.
• If the light does not go on, the iron is ready for use.
E. Cleaning and maintenance

After ironing
1. Remove the plug from the wall socket and let the iron cool down.
2. Wipe scale and any other deposits off the soleplate with a damp
cloth and a non-abrasive (liquid) cleaner.

Never touch hot soleplate at any time before it has cooled down !
To keep the soleplate smooth, you should avoid hard contact with metal
objects.
Never use a scouring pad, vinegar or other chemicals to clean the soleplate.
3. Clean the upper part of the appliance with a damp cloth.
4. Regularly rinse the water tank with water. Empty the water tank after
cleaning.

Double-Active Calc system
• The anti-calc box prevents scale from clogging steam vents. It can absorb
unsolvable calcium ion and send out solvable natrium ion so that the water
can be soften. And the process of calcium depositing would be much slower.
• The self-clean function remove the scale particles
• Use the self-clean function once every week. If the water in your area is
very hard(i.e. when akes come out of the soleplate during ironing), the selfclean function should be used more frequently.

Steps for using self-clean
1. Set the steam control to position
.
2. Set the temperature dial to Max.
3. Fill the water tank to MAX level.
Note: Do not pour vinegar or other descaling agents into the water tank.
4. Put the plug in the wall socket.
5. Unplug the iron when the light goes out.
6. Hold the iron over the sink and set the steam control to the self-clean
position
. Steam and boiling water will come out of the soleplate .Scale (if
any) will be ushed out.
7. Gently shake the iron until all water in the tank has been used up.
8. After having used the self-clean function, press down the steam control
while turning it to position
.
9. Repeat the self-clean process if the water coming out of the iron still
contains scale particles.

After the self-clean process
1. Connect the iron to the mains to let the soleplate dry.
2. Unplug the iron when the light has gone out.
3. Move the iron gently over a piece of used cloth to remove any water stains
that may have formed on the soleplate.

4. Let the iron cool down before you store it.
