INSTALLATION OF HOB AND OVEN
Only qualified personnel must carry out installation.
Contact Electrolux Customer Service on 0800 222 825 for details of an accredited Electrolux service technician in your area.
All care must be taken to ensure the installation is properly earthed and conforms to local laws. Connection is Y-type for the hob, whereas for the oven it is X-type. The hob and oven can be installed in all furniture units, as long as they are resistant to temperatures of up to 100°C. It is necessary to maintain a distance of 55mm from the back edge and 120mm from the left-hand side, as shown in figure 1 on page 5.
Any work for adjustment, maintenance, etc. must be carried out with the appliance unplugged from the electrical mains.
Positioning the hob
The appliance was designed to be built into a worktop and with dimensions above the appliance, as shown in images 1, 2 and 3 (pp. 5-6). Electrical connection of the hob is carried out by inserting the connectors provided for this purpose into the housing placed on the oven (see figure on page 8). The product is equipped with a special seal to avoid leaks into the furniture unit. It must be carefully positioned in its place as shown in figure 4 (page 6). Secure the hob with the braces provided for this purpose as shown in figure 4.
Oven installation
The oven can be installed only after the hob, and it must be placed in a standard opening (see figure on page 4). The oven is secured to the furniture unit by means of 4 screws "A", located in the special holes of the frame. When the oven is being placed in the housing cavity, make sure not to use the door as a lever. Also, do not subject the door to excessive pressure when it is open.

Page 10
This hob is made to be installed above a built-in oven; The supply wires must be placed in such a way as to ensure they do not come into contact with the hot parts of the oven in order to avoid overheating. Suitable air inlets (E) should be foreseen
only if there are
not enough air circulation below the oven,
to allow for
the proper ventilation around the piece of furniture, as illustrates; For the correct working of the hob, it is vital that the minimum distances
(C and D) shown in the picture be respected. All surfaces adjacent to the cabinet and the back panel should be made of
materials resistant to a temperature of 90°C
C:
85mm
D:
50mm
E:
30x40mm
To fix the cooktop in the housing, proceed as follows:
1)
Position the special gasket supplied [C] along the outer perimeter of the worktop, so that the ends of the gasket meet exactly without overlapping.
2) Position the cooktop into the worktop, taking care to ensure it is placed exactly in the centre.
3)
Fix the cooktop to the worktop using the special brackets supplied [A], as shown.
A correct installation of the sealing gasket ensures complete protection against infiltration of liquids

The terminal block is located on the rear of the oven.
Connection to the mains must be carried out by means of an omni-polar switching device with aperture between contacts equal to or greater than 3mm and it must be accessible after the appliance has been installed.
The hob must be electrically connected by inserting the five plugs in the corresponding connectors located on the oven, following the colour combinations (see next page).
Attention: only the related hob must be connected to the control panel on the oven.

REPLACING THE BULB
Important: Unplug the appliance from the electrical power supply.
Check that the oven is at room temperature, otherwise wait for it to cool. Remove the side rack.
To replace the oven bulb B (fig. 1), remove the protective cover A by turning it anti-
clockwise. Replace the burnt-out bulb and fit the protective cover back in place A.
Note: Use only 25 W, E-14 type, T 300°C bulbs. The lamp used in this appliance is a ‘special purpose lamp’ intended only for the usage with this appliance; is not intended for household room illumination.
REMOVING THE OVEN DOOR
To aid cleaning and make access to the oven interior easier, both oven doors can be simply removed. To make the cleaning operation easier, the door can be removed from the hinges as follows:
The hinges A (fig. 2) are provided with two movable bolts B.
When bolt B is raised, the hinge is released from its housing. Having done this, the door must be lifted upwards and removed, sliding it towards the outside; grip the sides of the door near the hinges when performing these operations. To refit the door, firstly slide the hinges into their slots. Before closing the door, remember to rotate the two movable bolts B used to hook the two hinges. Do not soak the door in water.
Door glass
The door glass can easily be removed and cleaned by unscrewing the side screws. Fig. 1 Fig. 2

OVEN CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Important: before performing maintenance on the oven, always remove the electrical plug
and disconnect the power supply by means of the main switch of the electrical system.
Cleaning the oven: cleaning the oven must be done after use and when the oven is off, but still warm, not hot, so that the layer of grease produced by steam from cooking on the sides is easy to remove. Also, grease drops and splashes will not have a hard, consistent crust. Clean the oven with a soft cloth soaked in a weak solution of ammonia, then rinse and dry. If there are still stains or drips, close the door and after a few hours wash the oven with warm water and liquid detergent, rinse and dry carefully. For the external parts in polished metal, use a soft cloth with soap and water. Never use powder products that contain abrasive ingredients. Do not use steam cleaners to clean the oven.
HOB CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
To extend the life of the hob, it has to be cleaned periodically. Follow these instructions:
Electric plates
To clean a plate, heat it up for a few moments so as to burn any products that may have been left during manufacture. Turn off the hob at the mains and leave the hob to cool; then clean with a damp cloth and lubricate with oil while it is still warm.
Control panel
To keep the control panel in pristine condition, you must not clean it with abrasive products or dirty, dry cloths. To make cleaning easier, the knobs can be removed by pulling them upwards, but do not use the control panel as a lever; if the knob is difficult to remove, place a cloth under the knob and lever it off carefully.
Stainless steel parts
Use products that are available in shops.
