The digital electronic flash provides an even soft light. You achieve an excellent plasticity and naturalness, especially in portrait, product and macro photography. Due to the built-in slave unit, which can be switched off, you can use all digital cameras or SLR cameras with built-in flash. The eFlash flashes synchronously with the camera flash, therefore a connection cable is not necessary (not suitable for cameras without adjustable measurement pre-flash). The low-priced flash is particulary suited as fill-in flash. We recommend the Flash grip and extension arm kit, which can be combined.
1. Power Sources
eFlash uses four AA type alkaline dry cell batteries or NiCaD rechargeable batteries. Manganese batteries are not recommended because of the long recycling time and shorter life. Replace the batteries if the recycling time is too long. Use the fresh batteries only.
2. Battery Installation
Be sure, that the main switch (1) is at „Off“ position before installing batteries. Open the battery compartment cover (2) by sliding. Insert four AA type batteries into the battery compartment. Be sure the polarity (+ and -) of
the batteries are aligned according to the diagram in the battery compartment.
Close the battery compartment cover (2) by sliding. Turn the main switch (1) to the “On” position. The Ready Lamp (3) will light up. Press the test button (4) to ensure that the eFlash is
working properly.
3. Operation
Insert the flash holder (6) onto the camera. Connect the flash holder through the contact cable (7) with the e-Flash (5). Switch on the flash on the main switch (1). Your flash is now ready for use.

4. Precautions
To prevent battery overheating, leakage or explosion, always use four fresh AA batteries
of the same type.
Clean the battery terminals before installing to assure perfect electrical contact. Do not recharge batteries other than NiCad rechargeable batteries. If eFlash is kept without using for a long time, remove the batteries from eFlash to avoid
the damage from the leakage of batteries.
Battery normally performs lower in cold weather, try to keep it warm.
5. Safety notes
Don´t let the e-Flash fall down. Avoid using eFlash in very high or low temperature or humid conditions. Clean eFlash with soft cloth, do not use cleaning agents. Store the e-Flash in cool and dry place. Turn the switch off when do not use eFlash.
