1 ABOUT THIS INSTRUMENT
The Elcometer 2290 Daniel Flow Gauge is a simple but effective instrument which is used to determine the
flow characteristics of thick or paste-like materials such as paints and similar products.
The product being tested is placed in a reservoir on the gauge. When the reservoir is raised to a vertical
position, the product flows out over a graduated plate. The distance travelled by the product over a certain
time is measured and is an indication of the fluidity of the product.
