EKLIPES 2000 Amp EZ Jump-Start 12 Volt Battery Harness User Manual

NOTE! READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE INSTALLATION
The EKLIPES EK1-153 Battery Harness is actually two Battery Harnesses in one housing with 2 Plugs.
The Package includes our New 2 Ft 3 inch Jump-Start Battery Harness, with Red Battery Eyelet for positive and Black Battery Eyelet for Negative.
This harness has 2 electrical plugs. Plug # 1 (as seen in picture above) is a Dims 12 gauge female BMW Jumper Plug which does not have an inline fuse link, so make sure you test the Dims Female BMW plug continuously during your installation.
Plug # 2 (as seen in picture above) is an SAE Dual-Pin Quick Connector Plug and has an inline 15 amp fuse link to protect all your electronic devices.
Check BMW Plug before installation to the battery to make sure Electrical connectors are securely connected on the Plug before you attach eyelets Red and Black to Battery Terminals to prevent shock.
To Check and inspect female BMW Plug connectors slide back external housing on harness down the wires towards the Fuse link to make room to unscrew BMW plug housing to check connectors (as seen in pictures 1, 2, & 3 below)
Note! Make sure Both Connector plugs (Red and Black) are securely connected to their mini plugs (as seen below) inside the female BMW Plug and are securely tight. Copper Pin is Positive, Brass Pin is Negative
Make sure the positive and negative connectors inside the plug as seen in the picture above are securely tight before you attach the ring terminals of the harness to the battery terminals as this part should be last after making sure you have not damaged the plug.
During installation you must be careful as to NOT pull on the Female BMW Plug when you are feeding the wiring harness from your battery to snub out to the side of your Motorcycle as seen in the picture below.
Note! DO NOT pull on any of the electrical plugs!! Pulling on the BMW Female plug will cause damage to the plug connector wires on the inside of the dims female BMW plug and cause an electrical short in the circuit wire and may cause severe damage or even fire. This will immediately cause a faulty installation and damage the electrical system.
1) Always test and check voltage continuity on plugs before, during and after any installation for safety to
make sure you have not damaged anything during your installation.
