50 cm (19 inch) Class Color Display Monitor

The advanced specifications and technology of the F730 support enriched contrast,
crisp text, and flicker-free images for CAD/CAM, DTP, high-end graphics, and text
based applications. The F730 offers convenient adjustment functions for simplified
operation and power saving features to guarantee energy efficiency.

Invar Shadow Mask CRT

The F730 utilizes an Invar shadow
mask CRT with a 0.26 mm dot
pitch for sharp display of images
and text. A wide horizontal scan­ning range of 30 - 115 kHz produ­ces a recommended resolution of
1280 × 1024 with a maximum re­fresh rate of 107 Hz. The F730
can also achieve a maximum reso­lution of 1600 × 1200 at 92 Hz
(addressable) to display more in­formation across its screen.

Signal Filter

A signal filter minimizes any poor
quality video signals from a graph­ics board to correct for a shadow
effect that may appear to the right
of text and images. The user can
choose from two filtering modes
in the ScreenManager

Auto-Sizing

The Auto-Sizing button located on
the front bezel activates the One Touch
Auto Adjustment function for sim­ple and quick readjustment of the
displayed image to the optimal screen
size and position in the selected dis­play mode.

ScreenManager

Screen adjustments for the F730
are simplified with ScreenMana­ger, a layered menu with icons
that allows the user to adjust the
monitor's image characteristics.
EIZO has eliminated the difficulty of
screen adjustments with the Quick­SetTM Control Pad, a single button
on the front bezel of the monitor
to manipulate all ScreenManager
functions.



Anti-Reflective Coating

EIZO's own anti-glare protectant,
SuperErgoCoat, significantly re­duces relection and glare that con­tribute to eye-fatigue. SuperErgo­Coat also helps minimize dust,
germs, and static electricity to im­prove the focus level.

Energy Savings

The F730 employs a CRT with a
new, energy efficient deflection
yoke. Power consumption is only
120 watts during normal operation,
a low figure for a 19 inch monitor.
For further energy savings, the
F730 includes PowerManagerTM and
off timer functions to reduce energy
consumption to under 3 watts
during periods of inactivity.

Sound

Sound Unit

For a multimedia upgrade to facil­itate applications such as video
conferencing and internet tele­phony, EIZO offers the i⋅Sound, a
separately sold speaker unit which
comfortably attaches to the bezel
of the F730. The i⋅Sound comes
equipped with two speakers, two
stereo mini-jack cables, and a mi­crophone, and is powered directly
from the monitor.


