P100 Adjustment Manual P100-CAL-V01 P100 Adjustment Manual
The P100 Calibration Adjustment is done electronically, by keyboard with-out the need to open the unit. It is performed over 5 positive calibration points in steps of 20% of the Full Scale and vacuum points ( for ranges up to 60 bar g ). The calibration procedure is carried out at 20 C +/- 3 in normal laboratory conditions Recalibration/adjustment of the P100 is only recommended if the as found data after verification are outside the specified tolerance. The calibration procedure needs to be completed as a whole to ensure the correct reading of the indicator.
Equipment
It is up to the user to ensure that a correct standard equipment is used to perform the calibration procedure. You will need a reference standard capable of generating vacuum and pressure up to the FS of P100 with a TUR of at least 3 to 1.
Connecting the P100 to the Standard
The P100 uses a ½ BSP male to connect to the process so you might need an adapter to connect to your reference. Please make sure that hoses, fitting and adapter have the correct working pressure rate before starting to generate any pressure. Also ensure that the system is leak free. Eurotron Instruments UK ltd can not be held liable of any damage or incident caused by a mis-use of the product
Entering Calibration mode

SET
P1= 20% of the FS
Set the out pressure to 20% of the FS of the P100 ( for example on a 10 bar g unit, set the pressure to 2 bar). Once the pressure is table, adjust the reading on the P100 by using the up and down arrow keys. Confirm by pressing SET
P1= 40% of the FS
Set the out pressure to 20% of the FS of the P100 ( for example on a 10 bar g unit, set the pressure to 4 bar). Once the pressure is table, adjust the reading on the P100 by using the up and down arrow keys. Confirm by pressing SET
P1= 60% of the FS
Set the out pressure to 20% of the FS of the P100 ( for example on a 10 bar g unit, set the pressure to 6 bar). Once the pressure is table, adjust the reading on the P100 by using the up and down arrow keys. Confirm by pressing SET
P1= 80% of the FS
Set the out pressure to 20% of the FS of the P100 ( for example on a 10 bar g unit, set the pressure to 8 bar). Once the pressure is table, adjust the reading on the P100 by using the up and down arrow keys. Confirm by pressing SET
P1= 100% of the FS
Set the out pressure to 20% of the FS of the P100 ( for example on a 10 bar g unit, set the pressure to 10 bar). Once the pressure is table, adjust the reading on the P100 by using the up and down arrow keys. Confirm by pressing SET
DP= Decimal point
Select the correct decimal point by moving with the up and down arrow keys. Press SET to confirm. Switch off the P100
For Vacuum Adjustment please use password 2124 and repeat the above procedure.
