Important Safety Instructions

1. Read, keep and follow these instructions.
2. Heed all warnings.
3. WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose
this apparatus to rain or moisture.
4. Clean only with a dry cloth.
5. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with
the manufacturer’s instructions.
6. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers,
stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
7. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug.
A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other.
A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong.
The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety.
If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician
for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
8. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly
at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from
the apparatus.
9. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
10. Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the
manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use
caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury
from tip-over.
11. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long
periods of time.
12. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required
when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as
power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects
have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or
moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
13. Operate this product only from the type of power source indicated on
the back panel. For products using an external power supply, use an

14. Unplug this product from the wall outlet and refer servicing to qualified

15. Keep this product a safe distance away from naked flame, such as
a lit candle.
16. Apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects
filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
17. When replacement parts are required, be sure your service technician
has used replacement parts specified by the manufacturer or have the
same characteristics as the original part. Unauthorized substitutions may
result in fire, electric shock, or other hazards.
18. Upon completion of any service, ask the service technician to perform
safety checks to confirm the product is in proper operating condition.
19. The recommended operating temperature range is 5ºC to 40ºC
(41ºF – 104ºF).
20. WARNING: The mains are not disconnected in the off position,
but the circuits are de-powered.
21. The power cord plug serves as the disconnect device and should remain
readily accessible.
22. The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation
openings with items. Such as newspapers, table-cloths, curtains, etc.
23. No naked flame sources,such as lighted candles,should be placed
on the apparatus.
24. The use of apparatus in moderate climates.
25. The maximum operating ambient is 45ºC.

2. Connecting to Power
Connect your Wi-Fi speaker to a mains power outlet. This speaker has no ON/OFF
switch so it will turn on automatically.
Note: Disconnect the power, to turn the speaker OFF.
3. Standby Mode
The system will enter Standby mode after 15 minutes without any audio signal input.
