MINI-MAX
MINI-MAX® as linear polisher
1) Tools like MINI-Fleece, MINI-Mix (= Combi), MINI-Mop (Flap) wheels, brushes and expansion rollers are supplied with a 6mm shaft. Insert the shaft into the 6mm collet, push the button from the spindle lock on the MINI-MAX® and tighten with an openended wrench (supplied). Important: Do not over tighten!
2) The stainless steel guard can be individually adjusted by loosening the fastening screw.
3) To achieve a shadow free brushed finish, it is important to move the machine in a linear motion without using excessive
pressure on the work piece
Note: For the removal of welds, spot welds and deep scratches, we recommend first to
use spiral bands which are mounted on expansion rollers. For applications like matt finish or
satin finish - use MINI-Fleece or MINI-Mix (Combi) wheels. For mirror finish we
recommend felt or superpolish discs with polishing pastes and creams. (Attention: Do not use different pastes/creams on same polishing tool)
Grinding/Sanding:
Use our MINI-FIX flap discs (grits: 40-120) for applications such as removing welding seams and deburring.
Finishing:
Use our MINI-FIX fleece discs (grits coarse - superfine), for fine grinding and finishing.
Cleaning:
Use our MINI-FIX Clean discs for fast removal of oxides, paint, rust, weld conditioning etc.
Mirror Polish:
Use our MINI-FIX Felt discs and polishing compounds. (Note: Do not use different compounds on the same polishing disc)
Cutting:
Use our MINI-FIX Cutting discs with special shaft. For this application our special cover guard must be used!
MINI-MAX® as angle grinder
1) Firstly the protection guard has to be completely removed.
2) Change handle from the lengthwise position into angle grinding position by taking it out and turning the handle 90° and screwing the handle back on. (Now the MINI-Max is ready as MINI-angle grinder!)
3) FIX-backing pad has to be mounted into the 6mm collet.
4)
Now all tools of the MINI-FIX-Hook & Loop System can be mounted and changed within seconds due the centring pin on the patented backing pad. We recommend for weld seam treatment and deburring the MINI-FIX flap discs (grit 40 - 120).
Changing of the MINI-MAX® tools
Use the included wrench for holding the bearing shaft while opening with the second wrench on the 6 mm collet.
Important! Do not open the collet by using only one wrench and the spindle lock otherwise it can destroy the toothed belt.

Exchange worn belt as follows: Take gearbox cover off by loosening screws, pull out front shaft, slide belt over both toothed wheels. Put shaft back into position and screw on gearbox cover. Turn machine a couple of times with your hand to make sure that the belt is running smoothly. Now the machine is ready for action again.

shaft.(Optional 1/4 inch) providing easy access to hard to reach spots.
