ACHTUNG! Vor Inbetriebnahme die
Transportsicherungen (Karton) von den Heizstäben
entfernen
1. Sicherheitshinweise
Vor der Inbetriebnahme die Bedienungsanleitung
unbedingt beachten! Das Gerät darf nur wie darin
beschrieben verwendet werden. Jede andere
Verwendung ist unzulässig.
Anleitung gut aufbewahren und ggf. an Dritte
weiter geben.
Überprüfen Sie, ob das Gerät in einem einwand-
freien Zustand geliefert wurde. Bei eventuellen
Beschädigungen Gerät nicht anschließen.
Nicht für gewerbliche Zwecke geeignet.
Netzleitung bei Betrieb nicht über heiße Geräte-
teile führen.
Gerät nie öffnen und Spannung führende Teile
berühren – Lebensgefahr!
Gerät niemals in der Nähe von Feuchträumen
oder Nasszellen (Bad, Dusche, Schwimmbad etc.)
aufstellen. Bedienelemente dürfen von einer sich
unter der Dusche, mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Gefäß
oder in der Badewanne befindlichen Person nicht
berührt werden können.
Niemals Gerät mit nassen Händen bedienen .
Gerät so aufstellen, dass der Netzstecker jeder-
zeit zugänglich ist.
Ist das Gerät längere Zeit außer Betrieb, Netz-
stecker ziehen!
Nur für beaufsichtigten Betrieb.
Gerät darf nicht in Räumen in denen feuerge-
fährliche Stoffe (z.B. Lösungsmittel usw.) oder
Gase verwendet oder gelagert werden betrieben
werden.
Leicht entflammbare Stoffe oder Gase vom Gerät
fernhalten.
Nicht in feuergefährdeten Räumen (z.B. Holz-
schuppen) betreiben.
Heizgerät nur mit vollständig ausgerollter Netz-
leitung betreiben.
Mindestabstand von 75 cm zu Gegenständen,
Wänden usw. beachten.
Nicht geeignet zur Installation an festverlegten
Elektroleitungen.
Keine Fremdkörper in Geräteöffnungen einführen
– Gefahr von Stromschlag und Gerätebeschädigung.
Kinder und Personen unter Medikamenten- oder
Alkoholeinfluss sind vom Gerät fernzuhalten.
Wartungsarbeiten und Reparaturen dürfen nur
vom autorisierten Fachpersonal ausgeführt
werden.
Vor jedem Betrieb ist das Gerät insbesondere das
Netzkabel auf Beschädigungen zu prüfen. Bei
Beschädigungen wenden Sie sich an einen
Elektrofachmann oder den in Ihrem Land
zuständigen Kundendienst (in Deutschland ISC
GmbH).
Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten dürfen niemals
auf oder in das Gerät gelangen – Lebensgefahr!
Bei Montage im Bad unbedingt die in Ihrem Land
vorgeschriebenen Sicherheitsabstände beachten.
Bedienelemente dürfen von einer sich unter der
Dusche, mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Gefäß oder in
der Badewanne befindlichen Person nicht berührt
werden können. Das Gerät darf in Deutschland
nach VDE 0100 Teil 701 nicht im Schutzbereich 0,
1 oder 2 montiert werden. Beachten Sie die
Vorschriften in Ihrem Land.
Das Gerät nur an eine geerdete Netzsteckdose
außerhalb des Schutzbereiches anschließen.
Gerät nicht unmittelbar über oder unter einer
Steckdose installieren.
Decken Sie den Heizer niemals ab, da es zu
Hitzestau und dadurch zu Schäden am Gerät oder
Bränden kommen kann.
Eine waagerechte, ortsfeste Wandmontage in
einer Höhe von mindestens 1,8 m über dem
Fußboden ist vorgeschrieben. Der Abstand zur
Decke muß mindestens 0,75 m sein.
Eine Deckenmontage ist unzulässig. Aufgrund der
Wärmeentwicklung können Holzdecken auch bei
Beachtung der Mindestabstände zur Decke
nachdunkeln.
Gerät nur in geschlossenen Räumen betreiben.
Während des Betriebes darf der Schwenkwinkel
keinesfalls verstellt werden. Verbrennungsgefahr!
Gerät abkühlen lassen!
Das Gerät ist nicht geeignet für den Gebrauch in
Tierzucht und Tierhaltung
Das Gerät darf von Kindern oder gebrechlichen
Personen nur unter Aufsicht bedient werden.
Kleine Kinder dürfen das Gerät nicht als Spielzeug
benutzen.

3. Wandmontage (Abb. 2-3)
Beachten Sie die unter Punkt 1 angeführten
Sicherheitshinweise.
Achtung! Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich im Bereich der
Bohrlöcher keine elektrischen Leitungen oder andere
Installationen (z.B. Wasserrohre) befinden. Achten
Sie auf festen, waagerechten Sitz des Gerätes an
der Wand.
Zur Wandbefestigung verwenden Sie die beige-
legte Wandhalterung.
Die drei Bohrlöcher (1) so bohren, dass die
Schenkel (2) der Wandhalterung sich in der Senkrechten befinden.
Schieben Sie das Kunststoffgehäuse des Heizers
von oben bis zum Anschlag auf die Wandhalterung. Die Schenkel (2) der Wandhalterung werden
dabei in die Schlitze (3) des Kunststoffgehäuses
geschoben.

5. Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Das Gerät ist nur für den Privatbereich und nicht für
eine gewerbliche Heizung ausgelegt.
6. Inbetriebnahme
Achtung! Vor Inbetriebnahme überprüfen, ob die
vorhandene Spannung mit der angegebenen
Spannung auf dem Datenschild übereinstimmt.
Beachten Sie die unter Punkt 1 angeführten
Sicherheitshinweise.
Der Quarzheizstrahler erwärmt angestrahlte
Gegenstände oder Personen ohne die Raumluft
dabei direkt zu erwärmen. Die Heizleistung wird
durch einen Schalter mit Zugschnur eingestellt. Die
gewählte Schaltstufe wird angezeigt.
6.1 Heizleistung einstellen (Abb. 1):
Durch ein- oder mehrmaliges Ziehen an der Schnur
des Zugschalters (3) wird die gewünschte
Heizleistung eingestellt. Die eingestellte Heizleistung
können Sie an der Anzeige (2) ablesen. Ist die
höchste Heizleistung eingestellt und wird der
Zugschalter nochmals betätigt, schaltet sich das
Gerät aus.
6.2 Anzeige der Heizstufen
Keine Heizleistung = Anzeige auf „0“ – keine Röhre
eingeschaltet
Minimale Heizleistung = Anzeige auf „1“ – 1 Röhre
eingeschaltet
Mittlere Heizleistung = Anzeige auf „2“ – 2 Röhren
eingeschaltet
Maximale Heizleistung = Anzeige auf „3“ – 3 Röhren
eingeschaltet
7. Wartung und Reinigung
Vor Beginn von Reinigungs- und
Wartungsarbeiten muss das Gerät ausgeschaltet,
vom Stromnetz getrennt und abgekühlt sein.
Wartungs- und Reparaturarbeiten ausschließlich
von einer Elektrowerkstatt oder der ISC GmbH
durchführen lassen.
Die Netzleitung muss regelmäßig auf Defekte oder
Beschädigungen geprüft werden. Eine
beschädigte Netzleitung darf nur vom
Elektrofachmann oder der ISC GmbH unter
Berücksichtigung der einschlägigen
Bestimmungen ausgetauscht werden.
Zur Reinigung des Gehäuses ein leicht feuchtes
Tuch verwenden.
Verunreinigungen durch Staub mit einem
Staubsauger entfernen.
Niemals leicht entzündliche Reinigungsmittel
verwenden.
Verwenden Sie zur Staubbeseitigung an Reflektor
und Heizstäben einen Pinsel mit langen weichen
Borsten.
Lassen Sie bei sehr starker Verschmutzung das
Gerät vom Fachmann reinigen.
8. Ersatzteilbestellung
Bei der Ersatzteilbestellung sollten folgende

CAUTION! Remove the transportation braces
(cardboard) from the heating elements before using
the appliance for the first time.
1. Safety information
Read the operating instructions before using the
appliance for the first time. The appliance may
only be used as described therein. All other
usages are not permitted.
Keep the instructions in a safe place and give
them to third parties if necessary.
Check that the appliance has been delivered in
perfect condition. If it has suffered any damage, do
not connect the appliance to the power supply.
Use the appliance only to heat room air in
enclosed rooms.
Not suitable for commercial purposes.
Do not lay the mains cable over hot parts of the
appliance during operation.
Never open the appliance or touch live parts –
danger of death!
Do not place the appliance near wet rooms or wet
areas (bathroom, shower room, swimming pool,
etc.). It must not be possible for the control
elements to be touched by a person in a shower, a
vessel filled with liquid or the bathtub.
Never use the appliance with wet hands.
Position the appliance in such a way that the
mains plug is accessible at all times.
If the appliance is not used for a lengthy period of
time, disconnect it from the mains supply.
For supervised operation only.
Do not use the appliance in rooms in which
inflammable materials (for example solvents, etc.)
or gases are used or stored.
Keep highly inflammable substances and gases
away from the appliance.
Do not use in areas where there is a fire risk (for
example wooden sheds).
Only use the heater with its mains lead fully
extended.
Not suitable for installation on permanently
installed electrical cables.
Do not insert any foreign objects in the appliance’s
openings.
- Danger of electric shock and damage to the
appliance.
Keep children and people on medication or under
the influence of alcohol away from the appliance.
Maintenance and repair work may only be carried
out by authorized trained personnel.
Check the appliance, particularly the mains lead,
for signs of damage every time before use. If the
appliance is damaged, please contact an
electrician or the customer-service center
responsible for your country (ISC GmbH in
Germany).
The appliance may not be fitted to the ceiling.
Ensure that no water or other liquids seep onto or
into the appliance – danger of death!
When mounting the appliance in a bathroom, be
sure to observe the safety distances stipulated in
your country. It must not be possible for the control
elements to be touched by a person in a shower, a
vessel filled with liquid or the bathtub. In Germany
the appliance may not be mounted within
protection zone 0, 1 or 2 (in order to comply with
VDE 0100 Part 701). Please refer to the
regulations in your country.
Do not position the appliance directly above or
below a socket.
Never cover the heater as this can lead to a build-
up of heat and cause damage to the appliance or
fire.
Do not use the appliance for animal husbandry or
livestock breeding.
If the appliance is used for a lengthy time the
housing can become very hot. Position the
appliance in such a way as to prevent accidental
touching.
Children or infirm persons may use the appliance
only under supervision. Children are not allowed to
use the appliance as a toy.
Connect the device to an earthed socket outlet
outside the protection zone only!
Maintain a minimum distance of 75 cm from
objects, walls, etc.
The appliance must be fitted to the wall in a
horizontal and stationary position and at least
1.8m above the floor. The distance to the ceiling
must be at least 0.75 m.

cables or other installations (for example water
pipes) near the drill holes. Make sure that the
appliance is securely and horizontally fitted to the

wall.
To mount on a wall, please use the supplied wall
bracket.
Drill the three holes (1) such that the legs (2) of
the wall bracket are vertical.
Slide the plastic housing of the heater onto the
wall bracket from the top and as far as the stop. In
doing so, the legs (2) of the wall bracket are
pushed into the slots (3) in the plastic housing.

5. Proper use
The appliance is designed only for private use, not
for commercial heating purposes.
6. Starting up
Important! Before using the appliance for the first
time, check that the voltage supply is the same as
the voltage details set out on the data plate.
Read the safety instructions listed in section 1.
The quartz radiant heater warms objects or persons
at which it is pointed but does not directly heat the
room air in the process. The heat output is set by a
switch with pull cord. The selected setting is
displayed.
6.1 Setting the heat output (Fig. 1):
The heat output is set by pulling the cord of the pull
switch (3) once or repeatedly. The selected heat
output can be read off the display (2). If the
maximum heat output is selected and the pull switch
is activated once more, the appliance shuts down.
6.2 Display of heat settings
No heat output = Display indicates “0”, no heating
elements activated
Minimum heat output = Display indicates “1”, one
heating element activated
Medium heat output = Display indicates “2”, two
heating elements activated
Maximum heat output = Display indicates “3”, three
heating elements activated
7. Maintenance and cleaning
Maintenance and repair work may only be carried
out by an electrical servicing contractor or ISC
GmbH.
Check the mains lead at regular intervals for signs
of defects or damage. A damaged mains lead may
only be replaced by an electrician or ISC GmbH in
compliance with the relevant regulations.
Important: Disconnect the mains lead before
cleaning – danger of electric shock.
Use a damp cloth to clean the casing.
Never use combustible cleaning agents.
To remove dust on the reflector and heating
elements, use a brush with long soft bristles.
In cases of very stubborn dirt the appliance should
be cleaned by a professional.

ATTENTION ! Avant la mise en service, retirez les
blocages de transport (carton) des bâtons de

1. Consignes de sécurité
Avant la mise en service, prenez absolument
connaissance du mode d’emploi ! L’appareil doit
uniquement être utilisé comme décrit ici ! Toute
autre application est interdite.
Conservez bien ces instructions et donnez-les à
un tiers en cas de besoin.
Contrôlez si l’appareil a bien été livré dans un état
irréprochable. En cas d’endommagement
quelconque, ne connectez pas appareil au
secteur.
L’appareil convient uniquement au réchauffement
de l’air ambiant dans une pièce fermée.
Ne convient pas à l’emploi industriel.
Ne faites pas passer le câble réseau pendant le
fonctionnement au-dessus de pièces brûlantes de
l’appareil.
N’ouvrez jamais l’appareil et ne touchez pas non
plus les pièces conductrices de tension – Danger
de mort !
N’implantez jamais l’appareil à proximité de salles
humides ou de locaux humides (salles de bains,
douches, piscines etc.). Les organes de
commande ne doivent pas être touchés par une
personne se trouvant sous la douche ou dans la
baignoire ou encore tenant un récipient rempli de
liquide.
Ne manipulez jamais l’appareil avec les mains
mouillées.
Disposez l’appareil de manière à toujours avoir
accès à la fiche secteur.
Si l’appareil reste hors circuit pendant une période
prolongée, retirez la fiche secteur !
Cet appareil convient uniquement à l’emploi sous
surveillance.
Cet appareil ne doit pas être mis en service dans
des salles dans lesquelles des substances
dangereuses (par ex. des solvants) ou des gaz
sont utilisés ou entreposés.
Maintenez à distance de l’appareil les matières ou
gaz inflammables.
Ne le mettez pas en service dans des salles à
risque d’incendie (par ex. où il y a des copeaux de
bois).
Mettez l’appareil de chauffage en service
uniquement avec le câble secteur complètement
déroulé.
L’écart minimal de 75 cm par rapport aux objets,
parois etc. doit être respecté.
Non approprié pour le raccordement à des lignes
électriques posées fixement.
N’introduisez aucun corps étranger par les
ouvertures de l’appareil
- Risque de décharge électrique et
d’endommagement de l’appareil.
Les enfants et personnes sous influence de
médicaments ou d’alcool doivent être gardées à
l’écart de l’appareil.
Les travaux de maintenance et les réparations
doivent uniquement être effectuées par un
personnel spécialisé autorisé.
Avant chaque mise en marche, il faut vérifier si
l’appareil, plus particulièrement le câble secteur,
est endommagé. En cas d’endommagement,
adressez-vous à un(e) électricien(ne) ou au
service après vente compétent de votre pays (en
Allemagne ISC GmbH).
Un montage mural fixe en position horizontale est
préconisé. Il doit être effectué à une hauteur d’au
moins 1,8 m au-dessus du sol.
Il est interdit de monter l’appareil au plafond.
L’eau ou d’autres liquides ne doivent jamais couler
sur ou dans l’appareil – danger de mort !
En cas de montage dans la salle de bains,
respectez absolument les écarts de sécurité. Les
organes de commande ne doivent pas être
touchés par une personne se trouvant sous la
douche ou dans la baignoire ou encore tenant un
récipient rempli de liquide. En Allemagne,
conformément à VDE 0100, partie 701, il est
interdit d’installer l’appareil dans la zone de
sécurité 0, 1 ou 2. Respectez les prescriptions de
votre pays.
N’installez pas l’appareil juste au-dessus ou au-
dessous d’une prise de courant.
Ne recouvrez jamais le chauffeur, cela peut
entraîner une surchauffe et donc des dommages
de l’appareil, voire un incendie.
Hors de la zone de sécurité, raccordez l’appareil
uniquement à une prise de courant reliée à terre.

3. Montage mural (fig. 2-3)
Veuillez respecter les consignes de sécurité du point
1. Attention ! Assurez-vous qu’aucun câble ni aucune
installation ne se trouve dans la zone des forures (p.
ex. des conduits d’eau. Veillez à bien fixer l’appareil
au mur en position horizontale.
Employez la fixation murale ci-jointe pour fixer
l’appareil au mur.
Percez les trois trous (1) de manière que le coude
(2) de la fixation murale se trouve à la verticale.
Poussez le carter en matière plastique du
chauffeur par le haut jusqu’à la butée sur la
fixation murale. Les coudes (2) de la fixation
murale sont alors poussés dans la fente (3) du
carter en matière plastique.

5. Utilisation conforme à l’affectation
Cet appareil est exclusivement conçu pour l’emploi
privé et non pour un chauffage industriel.
6. Mise en service
Attention ! Contrôlez, avant la mise en service, si la
tension présente correspond bien à celle indiquée
sur la plaque de données de l’appareil.
Veuillez respecter les consignes de sécurité du point
1.
Le radiateur radiant à quartz réchauffe les objets ou
personnes exposées aux rayons sans réchauffer
directement l’air ambiant. La puissance de chauffage
se règle par un interrupteur à tirette. Le niveau de
commutation sélectionné s’affiche.
6.1 Régler la puissance de chauffage (fig. 1) :
Tirer une ou plusieurs fois sur la cordelette de
l’interrupteur à tirette (3) permet de régler la
puissance de chauffage désirée. Vous pouvez lire la
puissance de chauffage réglée sur l’affichage (2). Si
la plus grande puissance de chauffage est réglée et
que l’on actionne une nouvelle fois l’interrupteur à
tirette, l’appareil se met hors circuit.
6.2 Affichage des niveaux de chauffage
Aucun chauffage = affichage sur “0” – aucun tube
ne fonctionne
Puissance de chauffage minimale = affichage sur “1”
– 1 tube fonctionne
Puissance de chauffage moyenne = affichage sur “2”
– 2 tubes fonctionnent
Puissance de chauffage maximale = affichage sur
“3” – 3 tubes fonctionnent
7. Maintenance et nettoyage
Avant d’entammer des travaux de nettoyage et de
maintenance, l’appareil doit être mis hors circuit,
déconnecté du réseau de courant et refroidi.
Faites effectuer les travaux de maintenance et de
réparation exclusivement par un atelier de travaux
électriques dûment autorisé ou par l’entreprise
ISC GmbH.
Le câble réseau doit être régulièrement contrôlé
du point de vue d’éventuels défauts ou
endommagements. Un câble réseau endommagé
doit exclusivement être échangé par un(e)
électricien(ne) spécialisé(e) ou par le service
après vente compétent dans votre pays dans le
respect des prescriptions pertinentes.
Pour nettoyer le boîtier, utilisez un chiffon
légèrement humide.
Enlevez les impuretés dues à la poussière avec
un aspirateur.
N’employez jamais de produit nettoyant l
égèrement inflammable.
Utilisez uniquement un pinceau à longs poils de
soie souples pour dépoussiérer le réflecteur.
Faites nettoyer l’appareil par un(e) spécialiste
lorsqu’il est très encrassé.
