General
Thank you for buying the EIKON CM14USB cardioid condenser USB/XLR microphone. Equipped with both USB and an XLR outputs, this digital/analog mic is designed both for live performance and digitally capturing music or any acoustic audio source using your favorite recording software. The CM14USB faithfully reproduces a variety of sound sources including vocals, acoustic instruments and It is also great for VoIP and webcasting. The extended frequency and fast transient response ensures an accurate linear reproduction. The microphone also features a built-in headphone jack with volume control that allows you to monitoring the direct microphone signal (your voice for example) and the sound from your audio recording software on your computer / device. The microphone’s cardioid polar pattern delivers excellent off-axis rejection, while its A/D converter with a 24-bit, 96 kHz sampling rate ensures clear, articulate sound reproduction. The CM14USB features a blue LED inside the microphone cage that indicates when the microphone has power. If the light does not turn on after plugging the microphone in, the computer or device you are using may not provide enough power for the CM14USB. If this is the case, we recommend connecting the CM14USB via a powered USB hub.
The CM14USB is a “Plug & Play” USB device, compatible with both Windows and Mac
computers, as well as the Apple iPad via the USB camera connection kit (available directly from Apple).

Operating Suggestions
Adjusting the input level on a Windows computer:
1.
Open the Start menu and click on ‘Control Panel’
2.
Open the ‘Sound’ preferences from within the Control
Panel folder.
3.
Open the ‘Recording’ tab and double click on ’24 Bit USB MICROPHONE’ from the list of devices
4.
Adjust the input level using the slider
