WORK AREA SAFETY
Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of ammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
Avoid body contact with grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges, and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is grounded.
Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with grounded power tools. Unmodied plugs and matching outlets will reduce the risk of electric shock.

CHARGING A HOT OR COLD BATTERY PACK
If the battery pack is out of the normal temperature range, the #3 LED will shine RED and the corresponding LED (#1 for fast charging; #2 for standard charging) will ash green. When the battery pack cools down to approximately 135°F (57°C) or warms to more than 37°F (3°C), the charger will automatically begin charging and the corresponding LED will shine normally.
DEFECTIVE BATTERY PACK OR CHARGER
1. If the charger detects a problem, the #3 LED will begin ashing RED or all the LEDs will turn off.
2. If registering as defective, remove and reinsert the battery pack plug into the charger. If the LEDs still read “defective” a second time, try charging a different battery pack.
3. If a different battery pack charges normally, dispose of the defective battery pack (refer to the instructions in the battery pack manual).
4. If a different battery pack also indicates “defective”, reattach the charger with the electrical outlet. If no charger LEDs shine briey simultaneously for selfinspection at the reconnecting moment or the #3 LED on the charger when battery is mounted on still displays defective, the charger may be defective.
WALL-MOUNTING HOLES
The charger has hanging holes for convenient storage (see Fig.1). Install screws in the wall 3 inches (76.2 mm) apart.
