BATTERY TOOL USE AND CARE

Recharge only with the charger specied by the manufacturer. A charger
that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of re when used
with another battery pack. Use only with the battery packs and chargers listed
below.

SERVICE

This blower has a dedicated plug-in connection. Please use it with the EGO BAX1501
backpack battery or with EGO portable batteries via the backpack link.

2. Press the variable-speed trigger
to turn on the blower.
3. The air speed of the blower is
controlled with the variablespeed trigger. The more increased pressure on the variable-speed trigger results
in higher speeds. Adjust the speed to suit the task at hand.

ADJUSTING THE AIR VELOCITY
In addition to the variable-speed trigger adjustiment described above, the blower is
equipped with a mode-selector button.
Briey press to select among the four air-speed settings; press and hold the button to
activate the boost mode. The LED indicators will note the selected speeds.
NOTICE: The blower has a memory function. When the air speed is adjusted among
the 4 designated speed levels and the blower is stopped any reason, the blower will
maintain the previously selected speed level when you start it next time.The boost
function is temporary; the blower will reseume the previously selected speed level
when the blower is released from boost mode.
To keep from scattering debris, blow around the outer edges of a debris pile.
Never blow directly into the center of a pile.
◾
To reduce sound levels, limit the number of pieces of equipment used at any one
time.
◾
Use rakes and/or brooms to loosen debris before blowing. In dusty conditions,
slightly dampen surfaces if water is available.
◾
Conserve water by using power blowers instead of hoses for many lawn and
garden applications, including areas such as gutters, screens, patios, grills,
porches, and gardens.
◾
Watch out for children, pets, open windows, or freshly washed cars, and blow
debris safely away.
◾
After using blowers or other equipment, clean up! Dispose of debris properly.
