1. Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
2. Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
3. Connect the equipment into an outl et on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is c onnected.
4. Consult the dealer or an experienc ed radio/TV technici an for help.
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rul es. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
1. This device may not cause harmful interference.
2. This device must accept any i nterference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
FCC Ca ution:
This Trans mitter must not be co-located or operating in c onjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. This equipment compl ies with FCC RF radi ation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrol led environment. T his equipm ent shoul d be ins talled and operated with a minimum distance of 20 c entimeters between the radiator and your body. Unauthorized antenna, modification, or attachments could damage the transmitter and may violate FCC regulations.
Regulator y informa tion / D iscl ai m ers:
Any changes or modific ations (i ncluding the antennas) made to this device that are not expressly approved by the manufacturer may void the us er's authority to operate the equipment.

System Requirements:
- 802.11b or 802.11g Wireless Network
- Certified 802.11b/g Wireless AP / Router / PCI Netw ork Adapter with a Removable Antenna.
Ethernet
A networ king standar d using cables (Category 5) to create a netw or k .
Network Adapter - Also known as a NIC (Network Interface Card). Used to prov ide PC’s or laptops with an Ethernet port or wireless
access to the network. Broadband Mode m - A de vi c e th at al l o ws br oadb an d c o nnect io n
to the internet. Broadband connections include s peeds faster than 56k (dial up modem speed). The tw o most comm on types of
Broadband connections are DSL and Cable. Cable modem relies on the bandwidth of c able television lines while DSL modem s rel y on the telephone lines operating at DSL speeds.
Router - A device us ed to share internet access from one user to multiple us ers. By tak ing one IP address (Addresses us ed by
ISP’s to assign broadband services to your computer) the Router distributes the ser v ices of your broadband access am ong multiple users and IP’s.
Wireless
W ireless Device – Any W i-Fi device (802.11b/g) that
communicates wirelessly using the IEEE802.11 wireless standar d. These devices can range from wireless access points to wireless rou t ers to wirele ss P CI client ca rd s.
IEEE 80 2.1 1 – Wireles s Netwo rk Spe c ificat ions

5
• 802.11 - applies to w ireless LANs (Networks) and
provides 1 or 2 Mbps transmission in the 2.4 GHz band using either fr equency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) or direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS).
• 802.11b (also referred to as 802.11 High Rate or Wi-Fi)
- an extension to 802.11 that applies to wireless LANs and prov ides 11 Mbps transmission (with a fallbac k to
5.5, 2 and 1 M bps) in the 2.4 GHz band. 802.11b us es only DSSS. 802.11b was a 1999 ratification to the
original 802.11 standard, allowing wireless functionality comparable to Ethernet.
• 802.11g - applies to w ireless LANs and provides 54
Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band. Backwards compatibl e with IEEE 80 2.1 1b pr o ducts.
Hi-Gain Wi-Fi Antenna
High powered antenna to increas e the distance of your Wi-Fi device.
S MA Connector – The standard antenna connector for Wi-Fi devices. This is the most popular connector and comes standard
with all Edi max Technologies equipm ent. TNC Connector – A type of antenna connec tor used by few
wireless networking equipment manufacturers. dBi (decibel) - A unit of measurement used to determ ine the gai n
leve l of wireles s an ten nas .
mW ( MilliW att) - A unit of meas urement used to determine the power level o f wirele s s devices.
