Charging Before usage, please ensure the headphones are fully charged; during usage, if only the red light can be seen twice every 8 seconds and a prompt beep is heard, this indicates low battery capacity. Please use after being charged. Red light on= Charging Red light off/Blue light on= Charging completed Charging time: about 2 hours. Note: If headphones are not charged for a long time, the battery life shall be shortened greatly. We suggest you to charge your headphones at least one every three months.
Warning: The chargeable batteries that provide power for this product must be disposed properly for recycling. Do not put batteries into fire to preventing explosion.
How to use headphones
1. Power on/Off Power on: Press and hold multi-pad for about 2 seconds. Release the key when the blue light is on and a prompt beep can be heard in the headphones. Power off: Press and hold multi-pad for about 5 seconds. Release the key when the red light is on and a prompt beep can be heard in the headphones.
2. How to wear headphones
2.1 Select the earmuffs with proper size based on your ear size and install
them.
2.2 Wear the left and right channel to the corresponding left and right ear as
shown in the following figure. Wear the headphones first and then adjust the ear hooks to go around the upper part of your ear to properly fix the headphones.
2.3 Use the headphones‟ wire clip to obtain better wearing experience.
3. Pairing/Connection
Pair with bluetooth mobile The steps are as below:
3.1 Place the headphones close to your mobile. The closer the better. Press and hold multi-pad for about 5 seconds and release it when the red and blue light flash alternatively. Now the headphones are in pairing mode.
3.2 Enable the mobile‟s bluetooth and search bluetooth devices. Select „EDIFIER W296BT‟ to pair up and connect. After being connected
successfully, the prompt beep sounds and the headphones‟ blue light is
flashing quickly.
Tip: During connection, if the mobile prompts inputting password, please input 0000; after pairing up, there is no need to pair up with the mobile after power on again. The bluetooth headphones shall automatically connect the mobile it connected last time.
One operating 2 units connection The headphones can simultaneously connect two Bluetooth devices. The operation is as below.
1. After the first mobile pairing up, switch the headphones off and on again to enter the pairing status. Switch the headphones off again after the second mobile is connected. After switching on, the headphones shall automatically connect the second mobile and you can manually click on the mobile to connect the first mobile.
2. After connecting with the second mobile, you can select “EDIFIER
W296BT” connection in the pairing records of the first mobile. Now the
headphones have successfully connected with two mobiles.
Note: When two mobiles have different operating system (E.g. One has Android and one iOS). Some cross-system operations may have delay (E.g. Pause songs in A mobile and meanwhile play songs in B mobile). Please be aware that this is normal phenomenon.
4. Battery display
When this headphone is connected with iOS device, the headphones‟ current battery life is displayed on the device. When the headphone power is low, the red color is displayed in the battery symbol to prompt you to charge the headphones.

Note:
In order to get the optimal effect for making a call, please place the wire
controller of microphone as close to your mouth as possible.
Some calls received via mobile shall be first transferred to mobile. Now
you can use the call switch of your mobile or operate on your mobile to switch the call to the headphones. Please read your mobile manual for the operation in detail.

Note:
Remote play control (Last/Next/Pause/Restore) functions require your mobile or Bluetooth transmitter to support AVRCP protocol.
7. Clear pairing list
Press and hold multi-pad, volume up and volume down key in standby status and wait for 5 seconds to clear all the paired device list of the headphones. (Note: After clearing the pairing records successfully, the headphones shall automatically enter into the pairing status after the headphone is switched on).
8. Hardware reset
If the headphones cannot be switched on or have no response during usage even after being fully charged, please reset it as below:
8.1 Press and hold multi-pad and use the charging cable to connect your
mobile to the USB port of computer or USB power adapter.
8.2 Press and hold multi-pad until the headphones is on and the
headphones are reset.

Maintenance
When usage, please read the following suggestions that may be helpful for
you to obey the warranty clauses and extend the service time of the product.
In order to keep the product dry, please do not place the product at the
damp places so as not to affect the product‟s internal circuit. Avoid using the product when exercising strenuously or sweating heavily to prevent sweat from soaking into the product to damage the product.
Do not place the product at the places exposed to sun or in high
temperature. High temperature would shorten the service life of electronic components, damage battery and make some plastic components deformed.
Do not place the product at very cold places to prevent damaging the
internal circuit board.
Do not try to dismantle the product. If non-professional personnel

operates, they may damage the product.
Do not fall, vibrate strongly, strike the product with hard object to prevent
damaging the internal circuit.
Please do not use drastic chemical products and cleaner to clean the
headphones.
Do not use sharp objects to scratch on the product surface to prevent
damaging the outer case and affecting looking. If the product cannot work properly, please send it to your qualified repair units, the personnel shall help you solve your problem with their whole heart.
FAQs
1. The red light flashes instead of the blue light.
Answer: It means that the headphones battery is low. You need to recharge
your headphones again.

2. The red light is off during charging.
Answer: a. Please ensure the charging device is properly connected with the
headphones.
b. When the headphones are not used for a long time, the battery will
enter the hibernate status. Now it needs to charge about 30 minutes and then the red light shall be on.
3. The headphones hear nothing.
Answer: a. Ensure if the headphones are in work status.
b. Ensure the headphones volume is suitable. c. Ensure if the headphones are connected with mobile properly. d. Ensure the headphones are in normal work environment.
4. Headphone is not good for talking.
Answer: a. Please ensure if your mobile is in the area with strong signal.
b. The effective operational distance of the headphones is 10m. Please
ensure the headphones are in effective operational distance and there is no obstacle between the headphones and your mobile.
5. Why can the headphones not pause, restore, last song and next song
when playing music?
Answer: The function requires the device paired up with the headphones to
support AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile) protocol.
6. After not being used for a long time, the product cannot be switched on
nor charged.
Answer: Please refer to hardware reset to reset and then charge the
product.

Note: The environment-friendly use period depends on the conditions like
temperature and moisture under which the product can work properly.
