Inserting Battery
Attention! Insert the battery as it is shown in the picture (“plus” to the front side of the recorder). Otherwise, the recorder could be harmed.
After you inserted the battery, keep the control
button pressed for two seconds. The LED has to ash three times (if that does not happen, the
battery is discharged or malfunctioning) showing
that the recorder is self testing. After 5-10 seconds,
the recorder’s LED signals the fourth time: it means
that the recorder is ready for work. The duration of the fourth ash can be some dozen seconds (depending on the recorder’s memory capacity).
To evaluate the recorder’s recording time in
different operating modes, use the table data.

Turning Recording On/Off
To start/stop recording, keep the button pressed for
two seconds while the LED does not signal. When the recorder starts recording, the LED ashes ve times. When the recorder stops recording, the LED ashes once.
While recording, the sequences of LED ashes show the charge of the battery (the rst sequence: 1 ash – from 5% to 100% , 2 ashes – from 1% to 5 %, and 3 ashes mean that the battery is almost
discharged (it should be changed) and the second
sequences show the free memory capacity: 1 ash – 75%-100%, 2 ashes –from 50% to 75%, 3 ashes – from 25% to 50%, and 4 ashes – from 0% to 25%).
