Short Operating Instruction for the
EDIC-mini Plus Digital Recorder A9

The EDIC-mini Plus A9 digital recorder is a pro­fessional device that provides high quality voice

recording on to a built-in ash memory. Recorded

messages can be played back with headphones

and saved as standard audio les on to a com­puter hard drive. The USB 2.0 interface allows high

speed data exchange between the recorder and

the computer. The recorder can be used for audio
recording and as a ash drive for saving les of
any formats.

The recorder has:

- Voice Activation System that allows to

compress pauses

- Built-in real time clock

- Supplied Software (available on the
recorder’s built-in ash memory) allows:

- To save recorded messages on a computer

hard drive as standard audio les

- When saving recordings on a computer
hard drive, to restore pauses that were
compressed

- To administrate the recorder’s operating

- To renew the recorder’s software

For the recorder’s power supply use the Li-Pol

rechargeable battery.

How to Turn the Recorder On and Test
It Quickly

Recording

Press the Rec button twice (two times for a second).
After the two LEDs ash shortly, the recorder will
start recording and the red LED will ash. To stop
recording, press the Rec button twice (two times
for a second).

Playing the recordings back with the help
of headphones

Connect the headphones to the headphones’

connector (see Figure1). To play the recording
back, press the Play button twice (two times for
a second). After the two LEDs ash shortly, the

recorder will start playing the recording back and

the green LED will ash. To stop playing back,
press the Rec and Play buttons simultaneously.

How to Read the Operating Instruction

Connect the recorder to the computer USB 2.0 port
using the shipped USB cable. Keep the middle
button on the recorder’s case pressed until “USB

2.0 active” appears on the screen. After this, a
removable drive will appear in the system. Open it.

Charging the Rechargeable Battery

Connect the recorder to the computer USB port
using the shipped USB cable. The yellow LED
will ash. The duration its ashing is inversely
proportional to rechargeable battery’s charge (
the longer the ash , the lower the charge). When
charging is over, the LED will turn off.

liabilities for 1 year from the date of purchase,
but no longer than 2 years from the date of
manufacture of the product (warranty does not

recorder’s operation lifetime (5 years). The
manufacturer reserves the right to refuse in repair
after the expiration of recorder operation life.

This warranty is voided if the recorder is:

- mechanically damaged

- received without supplier warranty tag on
