DISASSEMBLY
1. Raise rear of vehicle on flat stable surface and
support using jackstands.
2. Use penetrating oil on OE clamp that hold muffler
to overaxle pipe. Loosen clamp, remove the stock
muffler isolator brackets from frame and remove
the stock muffler from vehicle.
WARNING!!!
Exhaust gas contains carbon monoxide, a deadly
invisible gas. Correct any leaks before driving.
Suggested tools needed for installation:
❑ 13mm & 15mm deep sockets and ratchet
❑ Floor jack & jackstands
❑ Penetrating oil
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Proper installation is the responsibility of the
installer. Improper installation will void warranty
and may result in poor performance and engine or
vehicle damage.
ASSEMBLY
1. Install muffler inlet pipe onto OE overaxle pipe.
Install one of the supplied band clamps and snug
the clamp.
2. Install the muffler with a band clamp on the inlet
end. Rotate muffler for best ground clearance, and
only snug the clamp at this time.
NOTE: The inlet of the muffler is marked.
3. Install a band clamp on the outlet end of the
muffler, then insert the outlet pipe into the muffler
and slip hanger into factory isolator.
4. Install the tailpipe using the last remaining band
clamp.
5. Starting with the overaxle pipe, align and tighten
the axle back system for the best clearance around
chassis, suspension, and bumper.
