Introduction to the Unit 1

¾ Power System

* If the screen remains blank after pressing [on/off],
please follow the steps listed below:
a. Please check if batteries are securely in place.

b. Adjust the contrast control to adjust the screen

contrast for optimal screen viewing.
* Please remove the main batteries to avoid leakage
and damage to the unit whenever the unit is not
used over an extended period of time.
* Please use the rechargeable NiH battery pack that
comes with the device.

Data Storage

* All important data should be copied onto separate

permanent printed records. Any data loss caused by
consumer ( improper use, maintanance, battery
replacement ) is not covered by warranty.

Handwriting Recognition Operation

* To avoid scratching on the screen, use the stylus that

comes with this device only.
* Cleaning the screen lightly with a dry and soft cloth.
Do not use volatile liquids.

Warning

* The unit is not waterproof, please keep it away from

any liquid.

* The screen may crack if the unit is dropped.
* Some repair charge will be collected when the
defect is caused by the user, even if the unit is still
under warranty.

Inputting English

* Press [Thai/Eng] to shift to English input mode; then

enter English letters.
* Press [shift] before inputting an English letter to shift
it to upper/ lower case.

Inputting Special Symbols

* In the English input mode, press [Mark] key to select

the special symbols.

Inputting Thai

* Press [Thai/Eng] to switch to the Thai input mode.
