Installation and maintenance instructions
Please read prior to installation
WHAT’S IN THE BOX:
1 x EB Rapid Over Bench Boiling Unit 1 x EB 104 Complete Urn Tap
Important
This unit must be installed by an authorised plumber
The unit to be connected in accordance with AS 3500.4.1
Do not turn on power to this boiler until water is flowing
from the tap

Prior to installation:
• Max Inlet Pressure: 2,000 kPa
• We recommend the fitting of a water filter.
• Only teflon tape to be used where necessary. Under no
circumstances is plumbing paste to be used.
• Do not connect to hot water line or the fire hydrant supply – to do so will void the warranty.
Product Information:
This unit is fitted with a computerised element and boil dry protection. The computer is set at 97 Degrees C, altitude will alter the boiling point.
• If fitted with a filter we recommend changing the cartridge every 12 months.
• The manufacturer recommends cleaning and servicing the unit every 24 months, or every 12 months in hard water areas.
• If the supplied power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an electrician.
Installation Instructions:
1. Fit tap and shank on to the outlet connection provided.
2. Mount unit on the wall using fixing points on the back of the unit.
It is advisable to position the tap outlet over a drain board so that in the event of a leaking tap the water can be disposed via the sink.
3. Connect water supply to the 15mm inlet through a stop tap in the
supply line (stop tap to be provided by the installer).
4. Connect the overflow pipe to waste water or any other area where
water can be disposed of in a safe manner.
5. Turn on water supply and allow the unit to fill.
7. Open tap and check that water is flowing from the tap.
8. One water is flowing plug in the unit to a standard 3 Pin 10 Amp
Power Socket and switch on the power.
9. Leave for a few minutes to check that water is heating.
