IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE OPERATING.

WARNING - This appliance is intended for use in a domestic environment and smaller office use only. Any other use is not recommended by the manufacturer and may cause fire, electrical shocks or other injury to person or property.

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed:

1. Do not operate the unit with a damaged cord or plug, after it malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any way. Return to an authorized service facility for examination and repair.

2. This unit should always be kept in an upright position to avoid any damage. The appliance must be placed on a level flat surface during operation.

3. Check the household voltage to ensure it matches the units rated specification before operating.

4. Operate this unit in an ambient temperature between 5°C and 35°C.

5. Ensure that the air inlets and outlets are not blocked or covered.

6. Do not place the unit too close to curtains or other objects - min 40cm.

7. When using the unit to dry wet clothes in the room, please keep the clothing at a safe distance from the unit to prevent water from dropping onto the unit.

8. Never place anything on top of the unit and do not cover with any kind of material while in use.

9. This product is intended for domestic and smaller office use ONLY and not for commercial, industrial or outdoor use.

10. To protect against electrical shocks, do not immerse unit, plug or cord in water, or spray with liquids.

11. Never unplug the power cord without press the "ON/OFF" key to off first, as this could damage the unit.

12. Always unplug the unit when not in use or moving location. To disconnect from the power supply, grip the plug and pull from the power socket. Never pull by the cord.

13. Always empty the water tank before storing the unit away.

14. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children and pets.

15. Do not run power cord under carpeting, or cover with rugs or runners. Arrange the cord away from areas where it may be tripped over.

16. Never operate or store the unit in direct sunlight.

17. To repair the unit, take it to a qualified service engineer. Repairs carried out by unqualified people may cause damage to the unit or injury to persons or property and void the warranty.

18. Where possible, avoid the use of an extension cable as they may overheat and cause a risk of fire. Only use an extension cord after ensuring it is in perfect condition.

19. Do not use the unit without the air filter. Check and replace the 3-in-1 Filter every 3-6 monthes. Check and clean the Nano Silver Filter every two weeks.

20. For continuous water draining be careful not to bend the hose and to position its nozzle below the unit.

21. Do not insert fingers or foreign objects such as pins, wire or sticks into the air intake or outlet.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Wiring Instructions: Should it be necessary to change the plug please note the wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:

BLUE - NEUTRAL BROWN - LIVE GREEN AND YELLOW - EARTH

As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:

1. The BLUE wire is the NEUTRAL and must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured BLACK.

2. The BROWN wire is the LIVE and must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L or coloured RED.

3. The GREEN/YELLOW is the EARTH and must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter E or or coloured GREEN OR GREEN/YELLOW.

4. Always ensure that the cord grip is positioned and fastened correctly.

If a 13A (BS 1363) fused plug is used it must be fitted with a 13A fuse. If in doubt consult a qualified electrician.

Place the unit in an upright position on a stable, flat surface.

Please ensure the unit is a safe distance away from a wall or furniture (see the right graphic).

Please keep clothes at a safe distance of 60 cm from air outlet of the unit to prevent water dripping into the unit.

Where to position your dehumidifier?

For best results position the dehumidifier somewhere central like a landing or a hallway. As long as the internal doors are open the excess moisture from all of the rooms in the house will migrate naturally towards the dehumidifier and be processed.

Do not remove bucket when running, this will cause

water leaking.

The fragrance box can be released from the machine for refilling aromatic chemicals or scented materials. When using fragrance liquid, such as essential oil, please drip several drops into the sponge prepared in the box. Never fill it too much to overflow. Replace the fragrance box firmly in place to prevent access by infants. Keep the fragrance box out of reach from small children.

2. Automatic louvre adjustment (swing)

The louvre automatically opens when switching on and closes when switching off. Press

SWING key to select range. If SWING is off, louvre can be manually adjusted. The

sub-louvre on the front of the main louvre can be adjusted for fine tuning, such as for

downward airflow.

STATUS Indicators

<50%: room humidity is generally below 50%.

50-60%: room humidity is generally 50-60%.

>60%: room humidity is generally above 60%.

Defrost: flashes when in safe defrosting mode. Stops flashing light upon completion of defrost.

Full: flashes when bucket is full or wrongly position. Please empty

or reposition.

Purify: the unit is in air purification function, with ionizer on.

Laundry: the unit is producing a large airflow for rapid drying (eg for laundry dry) with ionizer is on.

Dry: the unit is producing a regular airflow for normal drying with Ionizer is on.

Up: the louver swings upwards to about 80°.

Front: the louver swings forwards to about 60°.

Wide: the louver swings in wide range to about 140°.

40-50%: the unit stops dehumidifying automatically when humidity reaches 40-50%. 50-60%: the unit stops dehumidifying automatically when humidity reaches 50-60%.

60-70%: the unit stops dehumidifying automatically when humidity reaches 60-70%

12 hours: the unit stops automatically after 12 hours.

8 hours: the unit stops automatically after 8 hours.

4 hours: the unit stops automatically after 8 hours.

2 hours: the unit stops automatically after 2 hours.

TO DRAIN WATER (Continuous Drainage)

You may use a hose with an inner diameter of 12mm for

continuous drainage:

1. Use a screwdriver to remove the knockout at the back. Attach the hose to the connector through the hole .

2. The hose must lead to an appropriate drain at a downward slope with no sharp bends.

TO EMPTY THE BUCKET

1. When the bucket is full, the "FULL" LED light will illuminate and the unit will stop.

2. Do not move the unit or remove the bucket, if the machine is still operating, as water may leak, damage the unit or cause an electric shock.

3. To remove the bucket, pull it out gently by gripping the bottom of the bucket, and lift carefully. (Turn off for 5 minutes before empty the bucket.)

4. Pour the water away, clean the bucket and restore the bucket to the correct position.

NOTE :

Clean the bucket with clean water if needed. Do not use detergent, solvent, abrasive or hot water to avoid damage to the appliance. Do not remove or damage the float in the bucket, the unit will not work correctly.

The "FULL" LED light will stay on until the bucket is restore to the correct position.

1. Ensure the bucket is well fitted in position before inserting the hose.

2. Before removing the bucket, ensure that the hose is disconnected.

MAINTENANCE

Cleaning the unit

1. Turn off the unit, wait for the fan to stop and unplug from the power socket.

2. Clean the surface with a soft damp cloth.

3. Dry thoroughly with a tower after cleaning.

4. In order to avoid damage, do not wash the machine with water, or let water drip into the air inlet or outlet.

1. Turn off the unit and remove the filter from the unit.

2. Clean the Silver Nano Filter only with a vacuum cleaner. (Washing with water will weaken the germicidal effect of the filter)

3. Refit the filter.

Before storing

1. Run the unit with Purify mode for at least an hour to dry the inside.

2. Switch off and unplug.

3. Clean and dry the bucket.

4. Clean the filter and the unit. Cover the unit to prevent it from gathering dust.

5. Store upright in a cool dry place. Do not expose to direct sunlight.

How to Clean

Cleaning the filter

If the filter is covered with dust, the airflow and the performance of the unit will be affected. Check the filter periodically to ensure any dust is removed (It is recommended to check and clean the air filter every 2 weeks or an appropriate frequency depending on your usage and air environment).

1. Switch unit off and remove filter from the back.

2. Do not wash 3-in-1 Filter(2). It should be replaced after 3 to 6 months use.

3. Contact your dealer to obtain new filters.

2. If performance is inefficient:

Is the unit on a horizontal flat surface? Check and move if necessary. Check if the filter is dirty and clean it.

B. If the problem persists (for example indicator lights flashing on the panel prevent operation and indicate the appliance has identified a fault), unplug the unit and contact the manufacturer.

D. Do not operate the unit if the cable or plug is damaged, but take it to a qualified technician. Unauthorized repairs may damage the unit or cause injury to persons and damage to property, and the guarantee is invalidated.

C. Do not attempt to carry out repairs by yourself.

3. If noise is heard:

Check if the filter is dirty and clean it. Check that air intake and outlet are uncovered. In case of low ambient temperature and humidity the unit will cut in and out. Is there any door or window open? Is steam being generated in the room? Is the room too big? Try the laundry mode operation and let it run in this mode for a day. Is the unit covered? Is the unit positioned at the required minimum distances away from walls or objects? (See page 6 Unit Setup)

1. If the unit fails to operate:

Is ‘FULL’ flashing? Is the bucket correctly installed? Check and reposition. Is the unit plugged in? Is it switched on? Is the unit defrosting (‘Defrost’ flashing)?

A: Before phoning for service please check the following:

Normal conditions

The compressor is set to continue running for at least three minutes after the unit is switch off so as to ensure the next use is smooth. Therefore ensure the power is left on during this time. This action also extends the working life the unit.

Do not try to repair it by yourself, as this could cause an electrical shock and void your warranty.

Benefits Of Using 3-in-1 Filter Benefits Of Using Silver Nano Filter

The Silver Ion attached on the filter releases the Silver ions repeatedly to eliminate bacterias effectively.

The 3-in-1 Filter is a combination of two complex charcoal filters with catalyst agents, and covered by an antiallergic non-woven fabric.
