1. IMPORTANT REMARK Congratulations! You are the owner of a carefully designed and manufactured equipment. We
thank you for having purchased our CKL-T processed system. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you read this manual before connecting the system, in order to obtain its maximum performance. We recommend our authorised Technical Services whenever any maintenance task should be needed so that optimum operation shall be achieved.
1.1. Safety precautions CKL-T systems are capable to deliver maximum sound pressure levels greater than 143dB SPL
at 1m. This sound pressure levels can cause permanent damage to human hearing. Protect your
ears when working at high power and next to the system. CKL-T sound systems have been designed to operate exclusively with ECLER amplifiers and
DP300 (CKL7000T) or AMIC card (CKL5000T, CKL3000T) digital processors which not only offer a wellbalanced sound, but also ensuring perfect operating safety. Using other components than the specified ones, be it from ECLER or from other manufacturers, will both worsen the system performance and mean a risk of serious damage to your loudspeakers.
2. INTRODUCTION
The CKL-T systems have been specially designed for both fix and mobile applications that call for excellent performance and sound quality.
Depending on the model, CKL-T system is constituted by de following items:

STEP BY STEP THROUGH CKL-T SYSTEMS PLUG AND PLAY COMPACT SYSTEMS In the last years, the evolution of professional sound systems has been certainly influenced by
two facts: The reduction of acoustic cabinet size and the ever increasing output power of amplifiers. Systems are now lighter, smaller and more portable, while the sound quality approaches more and more that of a Hi-Fi system. Electronics is the key of this advances. The components generally called "processors" are able to push a sound system to its limits. These intelligent electronic systems, sometimes contained in the amplifier itself, but in most cases mounted into dedicated processor units, constantly monitor the systems operating conditions. The result is a total reliability as far as the systems behaviour is concerned, which is the main obsession when installing professional sound systems.
CKL-T systems are based in two or three loudspeaker cabinets (depending on version): each of them is perfectly tailored to work in its optimum range of frequencies. Hence resulting in a well-balanced system efficiently capable of reproducing any program, be it vocal or any other music content.
CKL110T LOUDSPEAKER CABINETS (CKL7000T, CKL5000T and CKL3000T systems)
Small-dimensioned trapezoidal acoustic enclosure for mid-high frequency reproduction. Assembled with 18mm thick birch plywood from Finland covered with a scratch and shock resistant polyurethane paint finish. Internally reinforced. The mid frequency way employs an enclosed 10’’ speaker with neodymium motor and carbon fibre compound diaphragm attached to a Tractix horn, which is equipped with a phase corrector. The high frequency way uses a 2’’ compression driver with pure titanium diaphragm, neodymium motor and a 60º x 40º constant directivity diffusor. The speakers are protected against shocks, dust and splashes by a metal grille and an acoustically transparent foam. Incorporates handles for their transport.
The on-axis frequency response within a ±3dB margin lies between 170Hz and 19kHz.
The efficiency or sensitivity, which is sound pressure level (SPL) at 1m and 1W power input, reaches remarkable 112dB. The maximum SPL produced at 1m reaches 141dB SPL.
The system includes a passive LC filter with low tolerance polyester capacitors and large cross-section wire coils. The high frequency way also features a protection system against Larsen effect feedback and signal clipping.
The maximum RMS power is 350W RMS at 8Ω, while the program power capacity is 700W at 8Ω.

The maximum RMS power is 1100W RMS at 8Ω, while the program power capacity is 2200W at 8Ω.
3. INSTALLATION
3.1. Placement and mounting As a general rule and due to its portable conception, staking
loudspeaker cabinets is the recommended way of setting CKL-T system. This means mounting CKL100T (i.e., CKL7000T system) on top of CKL SM115 cabinet and this on top on DPC118 units.
The bass reinforcement cabinets DPC118 should be paired so that their marks are face to face (see diagram).
Bass enclosures are more efficient when placed directly on the floor in landscape orientation rather than vertical for a better sound quality.
Additionally, the acoustic conditions of the venue as well as the audience number, should be taken into account. Following general guidelines must be considered:
Always place acoustic enclosures on solid and firm ground.
No obstacles should lie between the loudspeaker and the audience. High frequencies, as opposed to low frequencies, tend to be much more directional and any obstacle in the acoustic wave path represents attenuation in the frequency response of the system. For large audiences better sound propagation will be obtained if loudspeaker cabinets are placed in a higher position.
Avoid exposing the system to sun for long periods and to rain.
7
3.2. Rigging CKL110T and CKL SM115 enclosures Following general guidelines must be considered:
Always fly loudspeaker cabinets from a solid and firm surface.
No obstacles should lie between the loudspeaker and the audience.
High frequencies, as opposed to low frequencies, tend to be much more directional and any obstacle in the acoustic wave path represents attenuation in the frequency response of the system.
CKL110T and CKL SM115 feature an effective rigging system, the same type as used in air cargo shipments (ISO 7166 standard), consisting in 6 adjustable cargo rails, which allow flying single speaker enclosures or complex combinations of several enclosures. Two rails are placed at each side and two at the rear wall of the cabinet. The fittings at the side are internally connected with a metal brace. These side fittings allow flying the enclosure. Finally, the rear rails allow tilting the enclosure or group of enclosures.
Each position of the aeronautic specified cargo restraint track has a maximum load capacity of 180kg, considering the enclosure is correctly flown, as shown in the diagrams.
The tracking system works in combination with Ecler ADP cargo restraint double stud and ring. (Adam Hall Ref. 5740)
The total load capacity of the structure is limited by this track and is 180kg per anchor point (360kg total).
It is very important to keep in mind that these values are only valid if the load is suspended perpendicularly. Load capacity varies as a function of the angle according to following table:
Always make sure that the anchor points are firmly attached to the rail and locked.
IMPORTANT
The rear rails have been designed basically for tilting the enclosures. They should not carry any weight.
ATTENTION
The chains or steel cables used to suspend the enclosures should
always run parallel to the vertical axis of the loudspeaker cabinet. They must not show a wider angle.
