Any other usage that is expressly not permitted in this manual may damage the appliance and constitute a serious
hazard for the user.

General Safety Warnings
WARNING
Read all the safety warnings and all instructions in order to familiarise yourself with the controls and how to handle the
appliance correctly.
Failure to follow warnings and instructions can lead to electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
Keep all warnings and instructions for future reference.
Electrical Safety
a) It is recommended that you plug the appliance into a socket equipped with a residual current device (RCD), the
tripping current of which is lower or equal to 30 mA.
b) Do not expose tools to rain or damp conditions.
c) Ensure that you use extension cords (multi-plug adapter or extension) compatible with outdoor use and that are
resistant to bad weather conditions (In accordance with CEI 60320-2-3)
d) Do not mistreat the cable. Never use the power cable to carry, pull or unplug the tool. Keep the cable away from
heat, lubricants, sharp edges or moving parts.
e) Do not carry / transport the appliance using the cable.
f) Always direct the cable towards the back, away from the operating appliance
g) Before using, check the power cable and extension lead for signs of damage or wear. Do not use the appliance
if it is damaged.
h) If the cable becomes damaged during use, disconnect it immediately from the power supply.
NOT TO TOUCH THE CABLE BEFORE HAVING DISCONNECTED IT FROM THE POWER SUPPLY.
i) If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by a special type of cable or unit, available
from the manufacturer or its after-sales service.
Personal Safety
INSTRUCTIONS TO FOLLOW BEFORE USE
a) This appliance is not designed for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, mental or sensory
abilities, or people with no prior experience or knowledge of this appliance, unless they have been given prior
supervision and instruction concerning this appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

b) NEVER allow children to use the appliance. Local laws and regulations may set a minimum age limit for users.
c) It is advisable that you supervise children to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
d) NEVER allow people unfamiliar with these instructions to use the appliance.
e) Do not handle if you are tired or are under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. Take regular breaks.
f) Always ensure that you wear the following personal protection equipment:
- Eye protection.
- Ear defenders
- Protective face mask to avoid irritations due to dust
- Safety shoes equipped with non-slip soles
- Long, robust trousers
j) Dress in suitable clothing; do not wear baggy clothing or jewellery that may get caught in the air intake.
k) Keep long hair away from air intakes. Tie hair up or cover it.
l) Never use the appliance with defective protectors or without safety devices, for example, the debris collector
must be in place.
m) Always check the appliance before using in order to avoid any risks, and do not use the appliance if it is not
assembled completely.
INSTRUCTIONS TO FOLLOW WHEN USING
a) NEVER operate the appliance when third parties, particularly children or animals, are in close proximity.
Switch off the appliance when people approach the work area.
b) Be aware of open doors and windows when using and ensure to blow debris away from them.
The user is responsible for injuries or harm caused to other people or their possessions.
a) Only operate the appliance during daylight or with the aid of good artificial light.
b) It is recommended that you use rakes and brooms to loosen debris before blowing/vacuuming.
c) Do not insert objects or your hands into the rotating parts of the appliance that produce the suction.
d) Keep all cooling air-vents clear of any debris.
e) Never blow debris or point the appliance in the direction of any people present.
f) Do not vacuum damp or wet materials, or liquids.

g) Disconnect the appliance from the power supply when checking the appliance, in the event of blockages or
if it vibrates abnormally.
h) Do not rush. Remain in a stable and balanced position at all times.
i) Always be sure of your steps on slopes. Strap the appliance to yourself using the accessory designed for
this purpose.
j) Walk; never run when holding the appliance.
Recommendations
k) It is recommended that you slightly dampen dusty surfaces or that you use a mist blower.
l) It is recommended that you use the intake/outlet tube at its maximum length to be able to reach the ground
with the air flow.
m) It is recommended that you operate the appliance only at reasonable times, not too early in the morning
and not too late in the evening, which may disturb neighbours. Keep to the times set by local regulations.
INSTRUCTIONS TO FOLLOW AFTER USE
a) Disconnect the appliance from the power supply after use.
b) Clean the appliance adequately following the precautions described in chapter 6.

Assembly
Warning!
The vacuum/blower must not be used or switched on until it has been fully assembled.
Assembly (Photo 1 & Photo 2)
Connect the two sections of tubes together using 1 x 50mm long screw provided and a Philips screwdriver.(see
photo 1). Connect the whole vacuum/blower pipe into the outlet using the provided two screws(normal longer screw +
one-way screw)by Slotted screwdriver (see photo 2) on both sides. Ensure the whole pipe is fully connected.

Fitting the collection by inserting the black connector into the hole on discharge port, the black connector is already
fitted to the bag.(See photo 3). Attach the front of the collection bag to the hook of the vacuum/blower pipe using the bag
retaining clip.(See photo 4 & 5)
Fit the shoulder strap (Photo 6)
The vacuum/blower is supplied with a shoulder strap (Photo 6, 6.1). This is fitted to the hole of the housing of motor
as shown (Photo 6, 6.2). The shoulder strap is supplied to reduce fatigue and make operating the vacuum/blower more
comfortable. It can be fitted in a position that suits the operator.
Before starting
Before operating the vacuum/blower, plug it in to the power supply ,and then switch it on. Ensure that the mains voltage
is the same as the operating voltage indicated on the rating plate.
Start the vacuum/blower
Before starting the vacuum/blower, ensure that the median vacuum/blower pipe is fitted correctly.
Warning! Before selecting the vacuum or blower function ensure that the function selection lever is in the normal
position and is not obstructed by debris from the previous time used. Select one of the two functions using the selection
lever (See Photo 7), then switch on the machine by squeezing the trigger (See photo 8).

To switch the vacuum/blower off, simply release the trigger.
Operating
Using the vacuum/blower
Do not try to vacuum damp debris; leave fallen leaves and other debris to dry before using the vacuum/blower. The
vacuum/blower can be used to blow debris off of patios, paths, lawns, shrubs, edges and alleys. It can also vacuum
leaves, paper, small twigs and wood chips. When the vacuum/blower is used in vacuum mode, the debris is sucked in
through the tube suction nozzle. It then passes through the mulching turbine and is then ejected into the collection bag.
This can help to provide excellent garden compost..
Warning! If hard foreign objects such as stones, metal, glass, etc. get sucked
in, these will damage the suction turbine and invalidate your guarantee.
Important
Do not use the vacuum/blower to suck up water or very damp debris.
Never use the vacuum/blower without the collection bag.
Operating the vacuum/blower
Blower mode
Before beginning, remove all debris and objects likely to be thrown or get stuck or tangled in the vacuum/blower.
Select the blower function using the selection lever (see photo 7),and then switch it on. Push it forward via wheels on
the end of tube towards the debris you wish to remove.
Blow the debris into piles, and then use the vacuum function to break it up.
Vacuum mode
Before beginning, remove all debris and objects likely to be thrown or get stuck or tangled in the vacuum/blower. Select
the vacuum function using the selection lever (see photo 7), and then switch it on. Push it forward via wheels on the end
of pipe, towards the debris you wish to vacuum. Do not push the end of the tube into the debris, as this risks blocking
the suction tube and reducing the effectiveness of the appliance.
Vegetable materials, such as the leaves, contain a large amount of water. This is why they can stick to the inside of the
suction tube. To limit this problem, leave vegetal debris to dry for a few days before vacuuming.

Maintenance, Storage & Servicing
WARNING
Disconnect the machine from the power supply before cleaning or carrying out any routine maintenance.
Only store the machine in a dry place, protected from light and ice.
Keep the machine out of reach of children
a) Keep all nuts, bolts and screws fitted to the machine to ensure that it remains in good working condition.
b) Never leave debris in the vacuum/blower or in the collection bag. This can be dangerous when the vacuum
/blower is next operated. Remove and empty the collection bag. Check that the function selection lever is
normal and not obstructed by debris. Brush the area surrounding the turbine and the inside of the
vacuum/blower pipe to remove debris. Do not use any type of cleaning solvent on the plastic parts of the
machine.
c) Replace worn or damaged parts using replacement parts and original accessories. Any damaged or worn
parts must be replaced in order to keep the vacuum/blower in good working condition.
Have repairs carried out by a qualified person using only identical replacement parts.
Protecting the environment
WARNING
Do not dispose of electric and electronic equipment waste among unsorted municipal waste, but use the selective
collection points available.
For more of information on how to recycle this appliance, contact your local authority or waste collection
site before disposing of it.

This product is guaranteed for a period of 12 months from date of purchase. Any modification or misuse of this machine
will invalidate your guarantee. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
