The Uscan is for non-invasive imaging of the human body and is intended for the following applications: Abdominal, Musculoskeletal, Pediatric, and Small Organ. Users must have ultrasound training for abdominal, musculoskeletal, pediatric, and small organ imaging.
The Uscan can also be used to obtain an image of the bladder that is used to automatically determine bladder volume.
TABLET SETUP GUIDE
Refer to user manual before use.
Caution: Federal (USA) law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician.
Remove the plastic bin at the back of the stand.

Route the Vein USB cable down through the stem of the stand, feeding
the Micro-B end rst.

Attach the charger to the multiple socket outlet.

The tablet allows either the Linear probe or the charger cable to be connected. To scan with the Linear probe, connect the Vein cable. To charge the tablet, connect the charger cable.

Connect the charger cable to the tablet and connect the system power cord to an AC socket to fully charge the system.
Place the plastic bin back into position.

Follow the on-screen setup wizard to
congure the tablet.
Select Language.
Setup Date and Time.
Connect to Wi-Fi (Optional). Note:
A Wi-Fi connection is required for automatic registration of the system.
Enter Registration Information.

A. Connect the Micro-B end of the Vein USB cable to the Linear probe box.
B. Remove the backing from the 3M Dual Lock™ strip on the probe box.

Attach the Linear probe box into the bay by pressing it into place in the position shown.

A. Remove the grommet.
B. Pull the Linear probe and cable
down through the grommet.
C. Reinstall the grommet into position.

A. Attach the ag label to the Linear
probe cable.
B. Trim the excess cable tie.

Loosen the nuts of the tablet holder and place the tablet into position.
Position the clamp to securely hold the tablet, then tighten the nuts.

Feed the USB cable of the charger up through the stem of the stand.
