areas. Engine exhaust contains poisonous emissions and can cause
serious injury or death.
• Wear eye, face, head, hearing, hand and proper clothing for protection.
• Review the area to be trimmed. Look for hazards that could contributor to unsafe conditions. DO NOT operate unit if any wires (power,

• Before each use inspect the entire attachment for breaks or cracks. If
the attachment is damaged in any way repair it immediately. DO NOT
USE A DAMAGED ATTACHMENT.

Power Pruner Circle Saw Attachment.

KICKOUT
P/N
X5002300101
W ARNING DANGER
Kickout can lead to dangerous loss of control of the Power
PrunerTM and result in serious injury to the operator or any one
standing close by. Hold the Power PrunerTM firmly with both hands
with thumbs and fingers encircling the front and rear handles. Be
aware of the down and outward path the pruner will take after the
cut is made.
Kickout may occur when the moving saw blade touches an object, or
when the wood closes in and pinches the saw blade in the cut. In some
cases this may cause a lightning-fast reverse action, kicking the saw
blade up and back or down and back towards the operator. Either of
these reactions may cause the operator to lose control of the Power
PrunerTM which could result in serious personal injury.
With a basic understanding of kickout, you can reduce or eliminate the
element of surprise which contributes to accidents.
Avoid contact with any object while the saw blade is moving.
Cut only wood. Avoid striking concrete, metal, wire, or other obstruc-
tions which could cause kickout or damage to the saw blade.
If the saw blade does strike a foreign object, immediately stop the
engine, inspect and repair the Power PrunerTM if necessary.
NOTE
Refer to Safe Operation section, in your Power PrunerTM Operator’s
Manual, for proper shoulder strap adjustment.

PRUNINGTECHNIQUES
The Circle Saw Attachment is designed for light to medium trimming of
limbs and branches up to 2-1/2" in diameter. Follow these tips for
successful operation.

Hold "front cutting guide" against branch. This will prevent whipping
of the branch. DO NOT use back and forth sawing action.
