Installation and Operation Instructions
Mini Oval Directional LED
The ED3022 is a bright, single-color directional LED designed to
provide added warning lighting to nearly any vehicle. Included
hardware allows for surface or bracket mounting and the compact,
three-LED lighthead tilts vertically to aim the beam for optimum
visibility. Available in ve illumination colors with 12 synchronizable
patterns, including steady burn. The ED3022 is supplied with a
bezel that matches the color of illumination, additional bezel colors
including black and chrome are available as accessory parts. This
manual provides information about installation, function, safety,
maintenance, replacement parts and warranty.

1. Proper installation combined with operator training in the use, care, and maintenance of emergency warning devices are
essential to ensure the safety of you and those you are trying to protect.
2. Exercise caution when working with live electrical connections.
3. This product must be properly grounded. Inadequate grounding and/or shorting of electrical connections can cause high
current arcing, which can cause personal injury and/or severe vehicle damage, including re.
4. Proper placement and installation are vital to the performance of this warning device. Install this product so that output
performance of the system is maximized and the controls are placed within convenient reach of the operator so that s/he can
operate the system without losing eye contact with the roadway.
5. It is the responsibility of the vehicle operator to ensure during use that all features of this product work correctly. In use, the
vehicle operator should ensure the projection of the warning signal is not blocked by vehicle components (i.e., open trunks
or compartment doors), people, vehicles, or other obstructions.
6. The use of this or any other warning device does not ensure all drivers can or will observe or react to a warning signal.
Never take the right-of-way for granted. It is your responsibility to be sure you can proceed safely before entering an
intersection, driving against trafc, responding at a high rate of speed, walking on or around trafc lanes.
7. This equipment is intended for use by authorized personnel only. The user is responsible for understanding and obeying
all laws regarding warning signal devices. Therefore, the user should check all applicable city, state, and federal laws and
regulations. The manufacturer assumes no liability for any loss resulting from the use of this warning device.

Wiring Instructions:
Black Wire: Ground
Red Wire: Power
White Wire: Flash pattern select and sync
ED3022X Sync Instructions:
1.) Connect Red power and Black ground wires to power source.
2.) Connect White sync wires together.
3.) Turn on power to lights.
Option A:
Hold White sync wires to power for 5 seconds, lights will sync together and revert to rst ash pattern.
Touch white sync wires to power for 5 seconds to cycle through ash patterns.
Option B:
With matching ash patterns selected, combine white sync wires for 3 seconds.
4.) Lights are now synced and can be installed.
5.) Although not required, to ensure all lights continue to be synced, keep sync wires connected.
Lights do not have alternate sync ability.
Installation:
Before installation, examine the LED heads for transit
damage. Do not use damaged or broken parts. Attach the
faceplate using the four (4) included screws.
Surface Mount:
Drill two 5.5 mm or 7/32” sized holes 50 mm apart into the
surface the light is to be attached to. Remove the phillips
head screws holding the U-mounting bracket to both sides of
the light. Remove the U-mount. Re-use these screws and attach the light. Or select two M5-.8 screws that account for the
14mm deep tapped holes in the back of the light as well as
