THE EBS RED TWISTER - GUITAR EDITION PEDAL!
The EBS Red Twister is a studio qualit y analog Chorus and Flange
effect for guitar with stereo output and true bypass. The internal
fine-tuning option to change the Effect mix can be used to blend in
the effect with the original tone.

THE CONTROLS
HVY
DEPTH
SPEED
SOFT
DEPT H sets the amount, or the modulation
depth, of the chorus effect. Note that when
this control is in minimum position, the
Speed control has no ef fect.
SPEED controls the speed of the ef fect. Use this
control in combination with the Depth control
to fine-tune your p ersonal sound.
FLANGE - This mode set can be used for the
typical flanged sound effect. The Red Twister
Flange mode is perfectly suited for guitar.
HEAV Y - This position gives the most apparent
chorus effect with the delay time fine tuned
for guitar. This position is useful for creating
sounds with huge, wide chorus timbres,
especially when the pedal is connected to a
stereo system.
SOFT - This is a smooth chorus mode,
especially useful for more subtle chorus
effects.
LED INDICATOR Indicates dynamically the speed
of the chorus, controlled by the Speed knob.
FOOT SWITCH Switches the pedal on or off.

DC POWER ADAPTOR For environmental reasons,
we recommend the use of a DC Power
Supply, such as the EBS AD-9+. The EBS
Red Twister Guitar Edition handles 9-12
V DC, and require a 2.1 mm pin center
negative type of connector.
BATTERY This pedal can run on battery (not
included). To place a batter y in the pedal
follow these steps.
1) Remove the four screws holding
the bottom plate.
2) Carefully remove the bottom plate.
3) Place a 9V alkaline type; 6LR61 in
the battery holder.
4) Gently place back the bottom plate.
Attach the four mounting screws using
moderate tension.

ADVANCED CONTROL OPTIONS (inside the box)
EFFECT MIX LEVEL
The EBS Red Twister pedal is equipped with
an effect mix trimmer, FX MIX, for further
fine-tuning your sound.
This function makes it possible adjust the
amount of the pure chorus signal to mix in
with the normal ”bypassed ” sound. The
range can be set from 0% to 100% mix,
where 0% is off. The factory setting for this
trimmer is set to 50%.
The trimmer is located on the printed
circuit board, and is e asily accessible by
removing the bot tom plate. When doing
any adjustments, please use a plastic
screwdriver, and turn this trimmer gently.
If you are not 10 0% sure on how to do thi s, please con sult your neares t service
center. Exce ssive force may result in dam age to the unit, and the warr anty in that
case w ill be void.

TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
Please consult the following checkpoints, before consulting one of
the authorized EBS service centers.
Checkpoint
1) Does the cable(s) work
properly?
2) Are the 1/4” plugs properly
connec ted all the way in?
3) Are the Instrument cable
attached to the Right
(input) jack, and the Amp
