THE CONTROLS
REVERB
TONE
USERS MANUAL
REVERB sets the amount of the reverb effect to be mixed in with the dry signal. Note that when this control is in minimum position, the Tone control has no effect. In parallel effect mode (see advanced options) this knob controls the volume of the unit when engaged.
TONE controls the high end timbre or treble tone of the reverb effect signal. Use this control to fine-tune your sound in combination with the type switches. When this knob is set to maximum, no filter is engaged and a true fullrange reverb sound is achieved.
TY PE SWITCHES - These switches select which type of reverb that is to be used. In total there are eight (8) different reverb types according to the program matrix shown.
LED INDICATOR Indicates when the pedal in switched on.
FOOT SWITCH Switches the pedal on or off.

POWER OPTIONS
EBS DYN AVERB - S TUDI O EDITI ON
DC POWER ADAPTOR For environmental reasons, we recommend the use of a DC Power Supply, such as the EBS A D-9+. The EBS UniChorus Studio Edition handles 9-12 V DC, and require a 2.1 mm pin center negative type of connector.
BATTERY The DynaVerb pedal can run on battery (not included), but since it need quite a lot power – we strongly recommend to use it with a power supply for constant use.
To place a bat ter y in the pedal follow these steps.
1) Remove the four screws holding the bottom plate.
2) Carefully remove the bottom plate.
3) Place a 9V alkaline t ype; 6LR61 in the battery holder.
4) Gently place back the bot tom plate. Attach the four mounting screws using

CHANGING TO PARALLEL MODE
The EBS DynaVerb can be set to parallel mode, which makes it suitable for connec ting to mixing consoles and so using the unit just as if it was a rack effects unit.
To do so, carefully remove the four bot tom screws, take off the bottom cover and change the two small switches to ”OFF”. This will kill the direct signal from the reverb.
Since no direct signal is present in parallel mode , it is good practice to turn up the Reverb and Tone knobs to maximum setting to star t with. Note also that when the pedal is bypassed, no signal is present at the outputs.
If you are not 100% sure on how to do this, please consult y our neares t service center. Exce ssive for ce may resul t in damage to t he unit, and the w arranty in that case w ill be void.

SAMPLE SOUND SETTINGS
The following examples below show a few of the many sonic possibilities of the EB S DynaVerb.
LARGE ROOM
This is an example of a room with fairly shor t reverbation time useful for effect playing. Use fairly high set ting for both Reverb and Tone for best personal result.
CLASSIC PL ATE
This is a ver y useful and classic type reverb, similar to the old reverb tanks found in many combo amplifiers. Use moderate setting for Reverb and fine-tune with Tone to match your sound preference.
LARGE OPEN HALL
This is the most dramatic reverb effect with the longest reverb time in the pedal, and the stereo operation in this mode gives an incredible depth to your sound. This reverb type is well suited for solo playing. Use fairly low setting for Reverb and Tone for best result.
