THANK YOU FOR PURCHASING THE BLACK HAZE

- ANALOG DISTORTION/OVERDRIVE PEDAL FROM EBS!

The BL ACK H AZE is developed by EBS with input from several
Swedish top session guitarists. It is a beautiful drive with some
darkness to it to make it interesting and irresistible. The Black Haze
features dual drive engines and low-range compensation.

Can I use it with bass too? The Black Haze offers a rich and creamy
drive sound for your bass with solid bottom-end. Use the Type switch
to change the character bet ween a Deep sound with lots of low-end
to a more gnarly type of overdrive in the normal and Thin positions.

THE CONTROLS

POWER SUPPLY INPUT*

Use a power supply that provides
stabilized 9-12V DC with a
standard 2.1mm contact, center
negative, such as the EBS -A D9+
Power Supply.

DRIVE

Controls the input
Gain/Drive level.

OUTPUT

Connect the output
to your amp, or the
next device in your
signal path.

ON/OFF SWITCH

Relay type footswitch
to switch the pedal on
and off.

TONE

Shape the tone range
of the ef fect from
darker to brighter.

VOLUME

Sets the output
volume of the pedal.
Notice that higher
Drive level increases
the overall output as
well.

INPUT

Connect your
instrument, or the
previous device in
your signal path, to
the input jack.

TYPE

Set tone charac ter to THIN,
NORMAL or DEEP. The deep
position compensates for low
frequency loss.
