Installing the appliance module

NOTE: Make sure the appliance or light is powered on.

X10 address

The X10 address consists of a House Code and a Unit Code.
In order for this module to respond to a command sent via the
Power line, the module needs to be initialized.

It is possible to congure multiple addresses for this module.

Programming the RPT module

1. Use a small sharp object, e.g. a paper clip, to shortly press the
setup button. This button is situated in the small opening between
the two LEDs. When the button is pressed, the green led will blink
quickly, waiting for a command.

2. Send the ‘power on’ command for the desired address.

3. The led will stop blinking.

4. The appliance module address is now stored.

5. If you wish to congure additional addresses repeat this procedure

form from step 1.

General information

- The RPT transceiver module can be congured to respond to up to 32 X10

addresses and 16 Secure ebode addresses.

- The factory default the protocol is set to X10 mode.

- The LED will blink green when receiving radio signals.

- The LED will blink red when ON/OFF command for a congured address are

received.

Reset appliance module addresses

1. Use a small sharp object, e.g. a paper clip, to press and hold the
setup button until the green led turns on. (about 3 or 4 seconds)

2. Release the button, the led will blink red and green and then
turn off.

3. When the red and green LEDs are off, the module is reset.

Can I plug transceiver module into a power strip?

This is no problem with a simple power strip however you can not use the module
with a surge protected power strip.

Operating the RPT Module

The transceiver is not responding to RF commands?

- Check and/or change the remote control battery.

- Reset the transceiver (see paragraph 4) and reprogram the address.

- Then, proceed again using learning mode as explained in 2.

The RPT does not respond to command sent via the power line?

- Reset the RPT (see paragraph 3) then initialize the address.

- Then, proceed again using learning mode as explained in 2.

Installation des Transceivermoduls

HINWEIS: Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Gerät oder die Lampe eingeschaltet ist.

X10-Adresse

Die X10-Adresse besteht aus einem HAUSCODE und einem
GERÄTECODE.
Damit das Modul auf einen Befehl reagieren kann, der über das
Stromnetz geschickt wurde, muss es initialisiert werden. Es ist

möglich für dieses Modul mehrere Adressen zu kongurieren.

Den RPT programmieren

1. Drücken Sie kurz die SETUP-Taste mit einem kleinen spitzen

Gegenstand, z. B. einer Büroklammer. Diese Taste bendet sich

in einer kleinen Öffnung zwischen den beiden LEDs. Wenn Sie die
Taste gedrückt wurde, blinkt die grüne LED schnell und wartet auf
einen Befehl.

2. Senden Sie den «Einschalt»-Befehl für die gewünschte Adresse.

3. Die LED hört auf zu blinken.

4. Die Adresse des Transceivermoduls ist nun gespeichert.

5. Wenn Sie zusätzliche Adressen kongurieren möchten, wiederholen

Sie diesen Vorgang ab Schritt 1.

Allgemeine Informationen

- Das RPT-Transceivermodul kann so konguriert werden, dass es auf bis zu 32

X10- und 16 Sicherheits-ebode-Adressen reagieren kann.

- Das werksmäßig eingestellte Protokoll ist der X10-Modus.

- Die grüne LED blinkt auf, wenn Funksignale empfangen werden.

- Die rote LED blinkt auf, wenn EIN/AUS-Befehle für eine kongurierte Adresse

empfangen werden.
